If it is too good to be true it is. What you have here is a pfishing scam. They are after your bank account and credit card number. This is someone trying to rip you off.

202-353-1555 hurry I must get in on this
There is actually a company called BOSKALIS OIL NIGERIA. However unless you applied for a posting... and did an interview.. this does not look genuine.. I dont think a professional organisation would have all the typos that I see in the body of the letter that you have recieved. Check to see if the letter has a telephone number for the company or even better an email address. Send an email.. But dont keep you hopes high mate... looks fake...
Did you apply to this company for this position? If it's like the lottery computer scams the first question you have to ask yourself is -- How can I win a lottery that I didn't enter? Same principle.
Great offer, do whatever they want and soon you'll be rich!
I really don't know how to say this without feeling bad, but Nigeria is well known for it's scam and cons over the Internet. They set off sounding promising and then it starts your identity stolen and in a matter of minutes they destroy a persons life. Please be careful in pursuing this opportunity for yourself, and may the hands of God be over you.
You could ask your embassy/consulate in Nigeria to check out this company and if they're really recruiting.
Did you in fact fill out an Interview Form anywhere or did you apply to this company for hire? You should know this, right?
Trust me, any oil and gas company is wealthy enough to hire someone who can speak the language and write a grammatically correct letter. This one isn't real.
run for the hills this is letter wants to separate you from your money
I am running Internet Cafe, last week I saw the same type of SCAM as ATLAS Oil Corporation, Nigeria. That mail was received by customer. I warned him to ignore those type of Emails. To see format, vist the link below:
http://www.geocities.com/empirecot/agree...
http://www.geocities.com/empirecot/emplo...
Please note down some points:
1. Check incoming Email address. Domain must be in or combination of their name of the company. Ex: it may be username@atlas-oilcorp.com, user@atlas.com, net, org, like this. It must not be like username_atlas@yahoo.com, etc. It looks funny. A company is not owning Email. Great idea! Carefull!
2. they collect from polular job sites.
Yes, its genuine. Although they did not ask, send them $1,000 as a thank up. In addition, send me $5,000 just so that I can put in a good word about you to them.
If you fall for any of these, just right SUCKER on your forehead so that scammers can focus on you and leave the rest of us alone.
I doubt if you applied to the job (they will pay you even less than you would make in India.) Why should they seek you out in specific out of the over 2 million USA software engineers/IT workers? Why would a company go through the hassle of trying to get you work visa/resident permit and the likes without a even a single interview? Name one software engineer/IT work that got contacted also to work in Nigeria? If you think about these hard you would know what I am thinking.
