THe only way it will be secure is if Mexico gets her act together and Illegals no longer have a reason to come here. so no it won't.

It's my most fervent prayer. At least we know about the tunnels and can therefore be more capable to stop the flow. I know that the majority of Americans want this to happen and eventually, we will have our way. No more illegals and deport the ones that are here. Keep up the calling and e-mailing and faxing, don't stop now as we are nowhere near our goals.
Honestly, they don't want the borders secured.It benefits the elite too much in this country to shut down and secure the borders.

Really, the U.S. Gov't does NOT want to stop all illegals. They just want to give the appearance that something is being done and maybe slow down the invasion at the same time.
If we do not find a way whats happened in the UK over the last week or so will be happening more and more here... Stands to reason that not only those "looking for a better life" are crossing our borders.
No . Would you actually want to live someplace where the government was that all-powerful ? Even N. Korea & China can't manage to seal that border. They ( Homeland Insecurity Dept.) have already screwed up the border ( at least the NY/Canadian border) badly enough . Dread what "secure " would be like .
ps . Hey Froggy, what *#^&% does the British situation have to do with this? Those were apparently home-grown jihad-johnnies . They didn't have to cross borders . One Canadian -grown maniac got stopped in Dec ' 99 0- Mexicans .He was caught by an alert, federally-employed Customs official.
The Sept 11th hijackers came here through legal channels . They were very scrupulous about not drawing attention to themselves . The few that were already wanted , got fake IDs in the Triple Frontier area . Going after that trade, there , with as much effort as we're putting into this fence silliness might actually accomplish something . Also putting more into finding fake SS #s would probably catch and greatly reduce the #s of illegals , and deter them from coming . NY state did that after Sept 11th, by more carefully scrutinizing transactions with DMV.
They never announced or explained what they did . What I can figure , from going through it , & what little was reported , was that they sent (untrue) notices to EVERYBODY, that had some business with DMV, that their SS# couldn't be confirmed ." Please call & confirm ...etc, etc.". Those that didn't reply , self-selected themselves for follow-up investigation. Must have worked. A lot of illegals decided to go home .

Nope and the people in charge of this country don't want it secured either. Their reason, I know not, but they have made it painfully obvious that they really don't care to secure the border between the US and Mexico.
maybe ,if we as taxpaying americans stop pussyfooting around and make our elected officials do the job that we pay them to do.if they can't listen to their constituents vote them out of office.i'm tired of being politically correct while our country is being invaded illegally.

Not unless the entire country gets sealed under a glass dome. We just need to take away the job opportunities by fining the employers that hire illegals, deny all public benefits, change the law on "citizenship by birth" for kids of illegals, forget about amnesty and other bogus programs like asylum (in most cases) and they will "see the wisdom of leaving" on their own.
