Answer:
No you don't have to go back to Spain . You were born in the US. So you are an American !!!!!! I'm also Spanish and Cherokee and i was born here in the Great USA . I'm also American .
HEY.., WAIT A MINUTE..
YOU SAID YOUR PARENTS ARE FROM SPAIN RIGHT?
THAT'S MEAN YOU ARE WHITE TOO, UNLESS ONE OF YOUR PARENTS IS NATIVE SOUTH AMERICAN
SPANISH ARE CAUCASIAN OKEY??
If you were born in the US, then you're American. Citizenship in the US isn't defined by blood. In other words, your parents don't have to be American for you to be a citizen.
You're not Hispanic. Hispanic refers to people who are of Latin American descent.
If you love being American, then stay here and join the Marines if that's still what you'd like to do.
Americans are anti illegals. Since our most porous boarder is with Mexico and the Mexican government has been proved to have actually been teaching its people how to sneak across the border and stay under the radar, we have a HUGE problem with the Mexican government. I don't care where someone is from as long as they come to my country legally.
You referring to people as white Americans rather than Americans shows that you are the true racist.
American citizenship is granted to any person born in the the USA unless they do not wish to have it. If your parents decided that you should have a Spanish citizenship instead of American then you can apply for dual citizenship, which would be granted upon proof of location of birth.
You are not Hispanic but it does depend on where your parents are from. South of Spain and your Mediterranean, East is Basque, etc.
Personally if you do wish to remain in the USA and are granted Citizenship I would not give up the Spanish Citizenship as this could be very handy, especially when traveling as free boarder movement in European and European territories and having the whole of the EU and USA on your side as well if you get in trouble.
Since I perused your other posts to this forum, I believe that you are either honest or have too much time on your hands. That said, I don't believe every immigrant should return to hers/his homeland. I've never believed that way and I'm certain most Americans have not. Personally, I believe that our country owes a figurative debt to immigrants. However, I personally have an issue with border security and the demise of our culture. I would elaborate further, but this forum only allots so much in the way of characters. Email me.
If you where born in Cali(where i was born) your an a American. And why does everybody think that their genetic line is pure? Im pure black, white...please I'm African American/Jamaican my dad has Spaniard as well as English in him so guess what buddy? we kin! And my good friend who's family is from Madrid actually gets mad when you call him a Mexican he says that Mexicans are Indians who where taught Spanish making then Hispanic, vs being from Madrid where you are Spaniard. It's not just "white Americans" who are anti illegals is Americans in general. I think your perspective is slightly distorted....just a thought brother
No you don't have to go back to Spain, only if you want to. The problem might be tough for you in California or any other of the southwestern states because of all the illegal immigration that goes on down there. Look at this way, how would you feel if all of sudden hundreds of thousands of French people decided to come into Spain without permission and settle down. They refuse to learn Spanish, do not work because they do not know the language and then turn to the government for assistance?
We do not mind those who come here legally. When you speak of this world I assume you mean the USA. If we didn't want you in the world, we wouldn't have stopped at Texas and California. If you mean the world, what country was it that destroyed the Aztec civilization? It wasn't the Americans. I suggest moving to another state away from the southwestern corner of the US and you will find it a completely different experience...
