I just found out that Illegal workers are paid above the national minimum wage $6.25 per Hour is this true?
If so how can employers be benefiting from employing illegal people? it does not make sense, maybe they work harder or something. There must be a catch somewhere, is there?
Can anyone explain this?

And Americans in construction used to make $25.00 dollars an hour; that adds up to quite a profit. Then add in payroll taxes, worker's comp, lawsuits and you have a hefty profit. I've even heard illegals in construction do the work wrong and have to do it several times to get it right and they still keep getting hired.

It's worth the extra money because they work very hard and because Americans wouldn't do it for less.
The job couldn't get done if (1) they didn't pay enough to hire Mexicans and (2) Americans won't do the job for less.

This is no verifiable survey of wages for undocumented workers. Some work at wages above minimum wage and some work at wages below minimum wage depending on the type of work and the location.
They may also be working at wages below the prevailing wage for the industry depending on the employer and the location.
Your 'facts' are very inaccurate and completely vague!
1. there is no preset level of pay for illegals
2. illegals get paid less than legal workers 99% of the time
3. Employers save by breaking other laws like:
A. F.I.C.A with-holdings not being reported
B. Not paying into unemployment
C. Not covering the worker with Worker's Comp
4. Employers do not pass on any savings to their clients, causing increased inflation, nationally.
5. Sometimes illegals earn MORE than legals for the same reason above and the employer still makes/saves money employing them

A legitimate worker costs more than his wage, usually around 1/3 more, so $50/day would translate to $66.67/day for the employer.
It depends how much they would have to pay legal workers in order to get them to do the job. Not every job just pays minimum wage. If a legal worker gets $100 a day plus benefits and an illegal worker $50 without benefits, that's still a huge saving for the employer. .
Illegal worker neither pay not get health insurance nor social security insurance. The majority of those costs are payed by the employer. The catch for the illegal worker is that if they get sick or want to retire, they can afford neither.

Probably. But the CRIMINAL employer is probably paying them under the table so they are not paying the employer portion of the 7.65% for SS & MC taxes, FUTA tax & other state employer taxes.
They are benefiting and they are breaking the law!
Because they don't have to pay workmans comp, insurance and dont have to bother dealing with accounting employees income taxes.
