I currently have an US L1 visa. If I want to get myself a L2 dependent visa stamped, will my L1 be cancelled?

I have US L1B visa stamped in my passport. If I have to get an L2 visa (dependant) stamped, would my existing L1 be cancelled

Answer:
You can't be an L2 off your L1 visa. Only the accompanying spouse and dependent children can be an L2. The primary L1 can't change to L2.**
