How long until I can go back to America?

I'm English, I stayed in America for three full months from Sept to December last year and now I want to go back.

I'm only allowed to be there 90 days in a year - does that mean I have to wait for Spetember to go back again?

Answer:
I'm assuming you're entering under the visa waiver program. You probably know, for certain countries a visitor visa stamp is not required, but the entrant is permitted to stay 90 days rather than the 6 months granted to someone who actually obtains a B visitor visa.

Unless there's a fact here I'm missing, there is no black and white restriction on visiting more than once a year. The difficulty comes if your visits are so frequent that it begins appearing you actually live in the States (i.e. 90 days in, 2 days out, 90 days in, 3 days out) or that your intention is something other than a temporary vist.
No I don’t think you have to wait, It depends if you are on business or pleasure. If you are visiting for pleasure you should be eligible to go back for a further three months.

Business requires a more complicated visa. Still what I am telling you may not be 100% correct.
I think you can come back after three weeks.
why follow the rules, no one else does, get a tan and act dumb, you can get right in and no one will do anything to you, its your right and you deserve to be here
90 days in a year, or 90 days? In thailand you are allowed up to 90 days, then you have to make a border run, have your passport stamped outside of the country, then go right back in the next day. Are you sure it is different?
That was 2006 this is 2007 a new year I'd say you could come back now .
Dont come to america! America is a big efing joke. Dont get sucked in to our system becaus ewhen you do, your screwed for life. This system is not freedom and it's not fair either! You are walking into disaster, please listen to me. Having a queen in your country that doesnt know what she's doing is so much better than having the system controling your life! Please listen im an american citizin i should know. I want to leave america and go to england.
It is illegal for you to work in the US unless you have a work visa or other permission (green card, etc.)

However, the 90 days isn't 'in a year' and you can go back. If there is no break, and you stay your max, as I understand it you will typically have problems the THIRD time you enter. That is when I have heard of people being off the visa waiver program and having to apply for a visa.

Fraud is fraud, though, whether it is this year or next year. If you just want to visit some more, though, just be mindful that pushing the limits can get you scrutinized.
