Absolutely. Americans are mad as hell, we're not going to take it anymore. It's time to take matters into our own hands since our elected officials are failing to do so. We want secure borders, no amnesty, no legalizing those who broke the law. Why should individuals who pay money and wait their turn get the shaft? They respect the policy of our nation and its citizens more than these illegals who are here only to take and not give in return.

I think many people who voted for it not getting elected is very possible. I don't understand why people would leave the Repub party part. The rest, I doubt it. That's not to say that I can't fathom something as radical as Mexico deciding to become the next "Palestine" if we succeed in closing the border.

Americans are really pissed off. Most unbiased polls I've seen show 80% of Americans don't want this piece of crap! (The LA Times BIASED poll says 2/3 want it but the Times is a joke!)
Personally, I will never vote for a pro-amnesty candidate. That eliminates all the Dems and McCain. Have you noticed McCain's poll numbers? He was #2, behind Rudy. Now he's way behind and his numbers are horrible. The "talking heads" say his pro-amnesty position has done this!
The GOP has distanced themselves from "Jorge Bush." Bush is mad that the GOP isn't going along with him on this piece of crap! He says they have to "convince" Americans about this bill.

It is a reward for criminal behavior and to be fair to all the other criminals we should make a clean new start and give them all AMNESTY. I think this is the will and ways of the weak teats of politics. If we can not control immigration it looks good to the media and public that the problem is solved the easiest way is to forgive. Not so good in the long term.
Sure, but it will subside. There is 1 goal of this government, and that is globalization. What better place to start than our own hemisphere, and continent. Mexico will quickly become Americanized, and Canada will be forced to follow suit. It's been a long time coming.

It already is the most important concern to me as a voter.
Though I feel sorrow for the poor people of Mexico, there are people around the world much worse off. We have people in our own country hurting. I think it's possible that we may experience a civil war, hate crimes from both sides and riots.
I only wish these people would rise up against their own government. Good question.
It's sad to admit, but nothing like that is going to happen. People can't even get off their butts to go down to a protest, you think they are going to start a riot?
I don't know about an actual civil war but I think you will see a political civil war in the Republican Party (as a minimum).
I think this issue is the new hot button issue for the coming elections, and for 2008 (replacing abortion and gay rights as the top one issue determining support). This is strongly indicated to be the case, especially amongst Republicans, in poll data.

Immigration is enough of a concern to enough voters to have a definite impact on whether some are re-elected, and may cost Dems control of Congress if things really go badly.
Notice how many immigrants have been involved in foiled terrorist plots lately. If the immigration bill were to pass and one of the plots were to actually succeed - especially if nuclear material missing from Canada were to turn up as a dirty bomb in an American city - and it turned out that illegal immigrants or a crossing of the southern border had been involved, and if the government were unable to suppress the news, then the stuff would really hit the fan. Voters would be enraged at the self-serving politicians who had voted for this monster, because make no mistake about it, the immigration bill is an open invitation to terrorists. It makes it ridiculously easy for them to gain legal status in the US.
Makes me wonder if some of the designers of the bill didn't want an excuse for new emergency security measures.
I think the political aspect of it will likely happen. People doing a knee-jerk reaction to the passage of the bill (or even voting for it if it doesn't pass). But those folks are not really thinking with their heads, since it all has happened before. Sure a small percentage will turn to crime, but most of the illegals are here just trying to make a life, and are good people just trying to find a better life for selves and family.
There will be no anarchy, but we do need to figure a way to stem the tide.

It is possible but not likely. Americans are prisoners to their own sick economy; and to busy staying afloat from one paycheck to the next, to drop everything and fight.

One of the things that this bill enables is a further push towards the North American Union where Mexico and Canada and the US become one entity much like the EU. See Section 413. While everyone debates the amnesty portion the real crime goes by unnoticed. This administration is nothing but slick in how it manuevers everything. You won't really need an amnesty program because they will all eventually be citizens anyway. Make no doubt that the SPP's goal in Sec 413 is to create the NAU. Its all about moving goods through the borders freely and gaining even greater access to cheap Mexican labor. After awhile the middle class will be wiped and we will all be poor except for the multi-national corporate folks. I used to think that all the people protesting the WTO, G8 and the other gloablism stuff were a bunch of kooks (and most still are) but there is a lot of truth in what they have been warning everyone about. Why do you think that Pres. Bush has been buying so much land in Paraguay? He's going to be one of the most hated men in America in a few years and he's going to need a place to run to.

Juan McAmnesty is already done in the Repub primary because of his strong support for illegal immigration. IN the latest South Carolina poll he was well behind Rudy G., Fred Thompson, and Mitt Romney! Good.
The result of the passage of such a bill will be the increase of the US population by 100 million by mid-century, almost all of it due to legal and illegal immigration. The country will become further divided as the southwestern states become more Hispanic and few of them will bother to learn English. Eventually, the US, Canada, and Mexico will form a North American union, or the southwestern US states will join with Mexico to create a Mexican empire. President Shrub would love to see that.

It's very possible. I'd hate to see vigilante justice rule but if the American people are pushed much further, it just might. I think the politicians have gotten away with so much because people have quit voting. It's imperative that all Americans vote! I think Tom Tancredo shows the most promise, so far. But only time will tell. Keep calling and e-mailing and faxing your state's politicians, the whitehouse, the senate, the house. They can't play deaf and dumb for much longer.
