Question about illegal immagrants?

What I hate is that immigrants get upset about this question. Think about this outside yourself (if you are an immigrant) and think about others (if you are not an immigrant). Okay the immigrant side of the story:
1)You just want to go to another country to get a job and money.
2) You take some of your culture to your new country and it helps the new land diversify.
3)You have escaped from home where you were one of a huge crowd and now you are special or you can work off your own iniative (sorry spelling).
4) Deep down you resent when others from home come to your new home as they remind you of your homeland (which would never be perfect) yet you feel guilty if you do not rejoin your community. You feel like a traitor.
5)You can never leave behind the feeling of being never being accepted by your new home. This can be religious, racial or other discrimination that deep down no matter what is said or done you always feel like you are discriminated against.
The Non-Immigrant Side:
1) You live in a historical land, with people of historically the same race, creed and beliefs as you. It is scary excepting outsiders.
2) Why should you change your life and habits because some one has moved in recently. Would they accept us moving in their home?
3)They want to change our life and change our culture. This is a basic human feeling we all feel.
4)They behave differently to us. We celebrate Christmas differently to them. We have our Summer Fates etc they do not.
5) They are racially different to us. They might produce more kids and take over us etc.
Until we start to realise that every society not just Western ones feel this way we will never progress. We all fear what we cannot change.
We need limits on immigration to protect our schools and services and wages for our own people.
Poor immigrants in particular take more in services like education than they are able to pay in taxes.
Legalizing too large a flow is not the solution.
However, those who come legally under a quota designed to protect education and life here for all (including immigrants) are welcome.
Its just the fact the foreign latinos are strugging to get better in this country legal or illegal and Americans seem to get annoyed by this. IF amnesty was given.. the issue of 'mexicans or hispanics' taking jobs will still be there.
We would NEVER let in 12-20million legals.The 2 mil. legal residents we take in is more than every other country combined.
No, in my opinion it's kind of a combination of the two. It's not the same with legal immigrants. They don't accept $3/hour wages and they pay taxes.
I'm a legal immigrant and it'll be interesting to see the views here. The point, I think, is that legal immigrants are documented and numbers can be controlled. If the USA decided that it needed no more immigrants it could close its doors and stop issuing visas. Of course, it would still have a problem with illegal immigration...
I hate the fact that they come illegally and they take American jobs. However, what I really hate is that they bring their family here and have children that they cannot support. Americans and legal immigrants then have to pay more in order to support people that shouldn't even be here.
No. It's the legal issue in the illegals that burns me up! If you are legal and can do a good job more power to you. If you are illegal, you are not wanted in our country so go home and save us the problem of deporting you.
I will not fault immigrants who come into this country in a legal manner.
Illegal immigrants are breaking laws of this country that are supposed to apply to everyone.
If we grant any type of amnesty for illegal immigrants, we are sending the message (or reenforcing it) that our laws only apply to those who choose to obey them or are too poor to avoid prosecution.
I just dont like that they are comming in our country illegal. Other then that i have no problem at all with any immagrants. After all, All of us are.
I do not have a problem with anyone working. That is what this country was built on. I have a problem with people coming here and illegally and taking jobs away from people who are here legally or are citizens because they are working for less.
I am angry that these illegal immagrants are being exploited. I am angry that illegals are exploiting our system. I am angry that there are people who are waiting to come to this country legally and others are breaking the law and get the benefits of being here.
I really dont understand why the illegal immigrants are coming in illegally. When I googled the actual precedures on coming into the US as a citizen it looks pretty simple. I think the largest problem is that they are here illegally and take advantage of the systems - government, laws, welfare - that we have here and are not held accountable for their actions. What is wrong with people who are in another country that want to come here but do so by "sneaking over the borders"? That makes the citizens of the country that they are sneaking into more suspicious of them. Let people come into the country - legally - get a job, be productive, raise a family, learn the host country language, abide by our laws and regulations.
I believe everyone has the right to come to this country because we are all equal. Whoever said u hate that they bring their family is wrong we all have freedom and in someway we all arrive here. AND AMERICA WAS BUILD FOR Opportunity AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT ALL LATIONOS WORK TWICE AS HARD
I don't hate any human being. We have a system that works here for everyone if it's done legally if not than its unfair to everyone else.
No most Americans hate that they are illegal and take jobs reducing the wages that Americans can get. don't have a problem with legal immigrants as long as their loyality is to USA
