Should mothers go to work?
Answer:
The question is much too simple for the reality of our world. Whether mothers should or shouldn't work is a very personal and individual choice that will be different for each and every family. I'm a single parent and if I didn't work, my children would starve. For many families (known collectively as the working poor) both parents must work because neither can get a job that pays enough to support a family. Sometimes, Mom has the better job (money, benefits, whatever) so it's in the family's best interest to have dad stay at home. Then there's the fact that women have many venues to make valuable contributions to our world, and should not be yoked solely to the home. So for some, it may be a simple choice of what is right for them (career, family, a delicate balance of both); but for the vast majority of us, though we may love our job or career, we weren't given a REAL choice. I would love to be home with my children, but a roof over their heads, food in their tummies, and clothes for those ever-growing bodies is a much more tangible demonstration of my love for them than being able to bake cookies after school.
Most Moms who work have no choice but to have a job so yes they should.
THis is an immigration question...why?

It depends on the salary of the fathers.
They shouldn't. But some mothers don't have choices. Mothers work because of the pressures put upon them like mortgages, living expenses, school fees, etc. not to mention if fathers are incapacitated.
I think if they can , and if the child is old enough for daycare or the if you have grandparents that could help out . Sure why not .
yes she can go
Its up to them. If they can live of their husband then they dont need to.
But a single mum that's getting loads of benefits because she refuses to work is not right.
I think "yes" but also she take care of that she is giving proper time to her family also
its important for her to do job to have a good status in society & in family
Some should and some shouldn't. It just depends on the circumstances.
It is not only Mothers, but also everyone should go to work once they become majors or after completion of studies. It need not be on economical basis as the proverb say " idle man/woman's brain works like devil". Once the children are grown up, the mothers need to work to avoid any sort of depression or harmone imbalances etc., and to divert their mind while concentrating on work.
I think being a good mom is a full time job itself. Of course things are way to expensive for most to stay home any longer so they really don't have a choice. My mom worked for a few years and then a few off (in the 1960's) I rarely had any time alone with my mom because of her working and having a large family.I missed out on knowing her. I also do know that my husband was born in a communist country and in the 1950's they had special baby sisters provided by the state for a small fee. Then when the kids were older, they went to a pre school and then a 6 day a week school. The communist state needed everyone to work so his mom had nochoice. They were pretty much slaves of the state. I hope the USA never goes through that.
My mom (rest her soul) worked from home as a dressmaker until I was 16, then we both went to work at a company in northern NJ that manufactures fabric goods for Batesville Casket Co.
We needed the two incomes, even though my dad had a good job.
I am going back to school to get my RN, then my certification in acupuncture and oriental medicine. that way I will be able to work out of my home as well when I have my own family.
Other than out of necessity, we were both very independent people, and enjoyed earning our own money.
I think that is a personal decision. Some mothers don't work because if they did, their paycheck would cover just the cost of daycare. As a mother myself, I choose to work because I cannot see myself sitting at home. It would bore me!
If my daughter is going to eat I have to work. No on else is going to do it for me.
it depends on the circumstances
but most kids dint want their mother 2 work
YES
this question has absolutely NOTHING to do with immigration? Can you not read?? Yahoo has a plethora of other categories that would be much more appropriate places to post this question...
