In fact "WE" passed laws limiting how many could come to protect our schools, services and wages and benefits for our own people.
Those here illegally didn't respect those limits WE wanted.
That employers may be complicit because it is OUR children's schools and hospitals ruined to provide services to their illegal work force doesn't in any way make US complicit.
Shame on the Americans that hire illegals and put us in the position to tell these nice people they have to go. Jail the employers hiring them and that will kill the motivation to come here.

WE? I suspect you mean multinational corporations wanted to reduce the wages for jobs they couldn't out source to other countries. That would be jobs in the service & construction industries. They have been successful & need only to reduce the wages in the transportation industry by implementing the North American Union.
That's why we have legal immigration laws on how many people we can reasonably accept. The illegals knew what kind of chances they were taking, there is not a grain of sympathy in me. Like my history teacher says, we took their land, it is obvious they would come back. Don't complain because most of us wouldn't like to do the jobs they do. I wonder how we would get our vegetables if they were gone, or who would operate that McDonnalds most Americans eat at. If you can name one thing that affects your life by the only fact they're here then you have a reason to complain. We all come from immigrants, and unless you are Native American you have an immigrant background. Nobody is stealing anything from you, they work to get their money and most pay taxes which you benefit of and get nothing in return. I understand why you would be against the criminal ones but otherwise it is very funny to me how people keep crying about it. My family came from Spain a while ago for a certain reason just like your ancestors had their reasons to come here, and just like they have their reasons to immigrate, with the difference that right now it is so difficult to do it legally that they have no more option. I don't see a sin being committed, to me land belongs to all.

It's called "chain migration." Sort of a take off on "chain reaction." We Americans are very lenient about this sort of thing. Why? Because we are kind and caring people, quite unlike the dishonest stereotyping of us spread by American and European leftists.
One proposal to dissuade much of the illegal immigration going on would be to permanently ban citizenship for children of illegal immigrants, even if they're born here.
