I this new immigration bill discriminatory?
Answer:
I do believe it said all undocumented immigrants. But you have a point, it does seem to focus on just the Mexicans. But I'm sure if the bill would pass it would include all other nationality's.I'm all for anyone trying to better themselves, but when they do it illegally and then throw it in our faces (CNN report- a group of Mexicans raising their flag with ours upside down beneath it.) That's so much Bull .So much disrespect. Send them all back. Their taking our jobs, getting free housing or some for barely nothing, soon they will be on our social security (which we all put their for our future Americans and which may not be their for our own let alone people that hasn't even contributed to it.)We have people on welfare lines,no housing, hungry children,no medical/health care, you better believe Mexicans will not have any problems getting anything. It comes down to one thing POLITICS, THE VOTE. I have no squirms with the ones that have waited and done the right things to become an American citizen, but kick the ones back that's for a free ride. They want to grant amnesty do it for the ones that did it legally. We wouldn't be treated as good in their country, you can bet. I think it's time for Americans to wake up and feel the back stabbing that we've been taking.Work, pay into our plans (social security, etc.)speak our language, and learn our ways,do things legally instead of sneaking in like thieves in the night. then give them amnesty.
Who cares BESIDES the illegals!!!
I didn't think it said only Mexicans.. thought it said undocumented immigrants
Because we are in a society where it does not pay to do the right thing anymore.
It's wrong. People have been waiting for 5 years to come to America... and the illegals can just jump everyone else in line, break the law, and everything is OK.
The bill is still being drafted, so it's a little early to say with certainty, but it's doubtful that mexicans will be called out by name and given amnesty. However they are the majority of the invaders so any amnesty will favor them. Doesn't matter though, since we will defeat this one just like the last one.
Darn right its discriminatory; against the American people! We don't want them here, but the government seems to think they can cram them down our throat! The people who employ them should be run out of business! They are a drain on our resources, the ones that our poor, sick & homeless need. Yet we are being asked to neglect our own to let them come in & put a further strain on an already weak system. The government is bonkers!
Wow, what a great point.
You just exposed the fact our government has an alterior motive.
Curious they would just want Mexicans.
12 million votes maybe?
That is the ONLY reason they want this bill. They could give two shits about immigrants. They just want their votes, and your question proves that..
I didnt't know that it is only for the mexicans
It is also really unfair to all the legal immigrants .
I waited 18 month ( got an medical examination , an drug test , an background check ,got shots , paid money for all of that + the fees ) before i got the permission to live /work in the United States LEGAL (i am married to an usc ).
We also paid for flight tickets (USA - Gemany )so we could see us , during my case was pending )
My hubby gets always angry when he hears about that immigration bill .
But i don't want to be a cry baby .
Life is unfair sometimes.
I do not think the writers of the bill were trying to pick on Mexicans, that bill would never pass if it just focused on one group, and every Latin American lobby group would be all on that.
I think that is the people opnion abou t the bill becuase facts show the majority of illegal immigrants are Latin American. BUt let's remember one thing, they did enter the country illegally. The bill motive is in the right place, but wrong method. If you want to stop it you must do 3 things
1) Harsh penlaties for crossing over including military force if necessary.
2) Immigration offices need to work hand in hand with the governments, but mostly run by the country that they are coming into. A great example is the Swiss, you know what you have to go through to work in Switzerland. If you do not have a college degree, you better have 10 years of documented skills. Frankly, most of these people have no skills, and I rather give that job to a true U.S. citizen, who would have to pay taxes! Because , like myself, I have to pay taxes and do not get them back at the end of the year.
3) For those who do enter legal or illegal but do not have full citizen status(7 years of productive living, pass the equivalent of an American History AP test) and commit 3 petty crime(speeding ticket, jaywalking) or a major felony, need to have all assets here and abroad seized and sent back to never return. And imprisonment back in theri own countries.
My final statement:
Come be a part of my country, but if you want in, you gotta pay, I am sure the investment will work itself out.
Come to get free health care, schooling, make babies and can't afford to feed them, do that in your own country...thank you!
