Legal immigrants would have no fear of seeing the doctor.
But should this country pay for your surgery when the person broke into it? Nope.
If I break into your home, will you pay for me to get surgery? Or my food? My clothes? My education?

Of course you should be treated at the ER. However, if you are here as an illegal immigrant, you should then be immediately deported as soon as your condition has been stabilized. If you are a foreigner visiting here legally, you should have medical travel insurance to cover such emergencies. If not, you should be billed for your care and you should have to pay up or be deported immediately after you are stabilized and never allowed back into the country until you have paid your medical bill.

In that situation you have NO choice and Doctors in any civilized country will take a lot of fire if they refuse to treat a dying individual for monetary reasons. If you can hold out you can seek help at a military post ran by your country of origin.

Sure you should be treated and stabilized then you and your family put on a slow boat back to were you came from and the next time you sneak back in illegally you should be dealt with harshly very harshly.

ER is for emergencies but it's paid by someone. That someone has to decide whether to treat you or not.
Same for the doctor. If the doctor feels compelled to treat you for whatever reason, he can do it but not using the time someone else is paying for nor the resources (building, instruments, medications, etc).
Social health care is a money pit abused by everyone. If I pay for health care I want it for me. I'm willing to pay extra to help those who don't have the means nor the way to get them. But it's still my money and, if I see that the system is abused, I want my money out of it.

Yes of course even if you are in a different country you are still human. In US no one can be refused medical treatment at an ER with or without insurance.

Yes. I believe every human should have medical access.It should just be another human right. You can pay for it later when you are well again. My step-dad was a Navy Medic in WW11 and in the Korean War. He treated people from both sides. It was the only thing that kept him going.It is not about race or payment, every life is valuable.

I'm also a hospital worker. Those "illegal aliens" attempt to pay more often than lazy Americans.
I don't know about China, or any other country, but here, you have to treat everyone with an emergency, and appendicitis is an emergency. To turn someone away for inability to pay if they are having an acute emergency is a violation of EMTALA laws.
I treat everyone with equal respect at my job, but if there were any subset of people that I could force to never set foot in my hospital again, it'd be the lazy, entitlement-minded, voluntarily uneducated, system-sucking AMERICANS.
