Why do we have immigration quotas?
Answer:
Great question. Top economists study all the figures and determine the quota's along with university studies and engineering studies due to our infrastructure. The quotas are to prevent damage to the economy and to prevent excess burden to the taxpayers. It is also important for living conditions, housing and other very important factors.
Great, Great, Great question. here is a star for your effort... Don't look for many answers to this one because you are absolutely correct with little to no room for argument.
Apparently we don't anymore. Been to Southern California lately?
Excerpt from OC Online Community Home-Effects of Illegals in CM
I don't blame people from wanting to escape to America to have a better life, but by breaking the law these parents set a bad example for their children. We have only ourselves to blame, however. We have for years looked the other way so we could enjoy the benefits of low-cost labor. We have sowed the wind and are reaping the whirlwind. We cannot instantly turn back the clock. With some degree of compassion and mercy, I believe each level of government should enforce all laws to send a message that no longer will Americans permit anyone to enter our country who does not follow the rules first.
We have laws in place the only problem is that it affects the law abiding person. As a progressive country immigrants add to our country in immeasurable ways , however Illegal immigrants detract from society as there is no system of checks and balances , no health or background checks.Just more of a burden by numerous uneducated people from a third world country. In small doses this is fine but in droves is detrimental to society as they are more a burden than a benefit. Everyone wants to improve their quality of life but there most be limits imposed as to maintain a decent level of living for all.
