You cannot acquire a greencard with student visa in the US.
You will need to find a job, which will provide a H-1B visa, then you can apply to greencard later. However, with very recent changes, it will take many years before you can get the greencard.
Go back to your country and apply for a green card the legal way like the rest! Here's another one wanting a damn free pass!
A Student visa is NOT a dual intent visa...which means that you cannot adjust status on this visa...sorry...

If you are a PhD student (MS ok but harder), study in a highly specialized field that meets national interest requirement, have published quality papers, and can get recommendations from reputable people in your field, you can certainly apply for green card without the sponsorship of an employer.
A better approach would be to find a job first, get H1B working visa, and then apply for employment based green card. I agree with others that it is taking a long time nowadays, check out this page for example:
