Amnesty does not mean automaticall they can get better jobs. Over 70% of illegal aliens that came here have less than a 9th grade education equivalent and cannot speak English.
What it means is millions of formerly illegals getting added to the welfare rolls that they couldn't get on before.
Very few will be seeing "better" jobs unless they happened to stufy English and get an education while on the underground run as an illegal.
However, if we would all get a clue and start putting calls to our representatives and demanding they start taking action as to our desires and concerns, perhaps then we could see real action against illegal immigration.
The catch line in this question is "who will do the jobs we won't do then?" This country has enough workers that will take any job offered to them, some will work two jobs in a day, hard work, not sit at your desk jobs! So will someone please let me know just what the jobs are that an American will not do? This line of thinking is why we have the illegals in this country. It isn't that Americans won't do the jobs, its that the employer won't pay a fair wage!
I don't believe they can get better jobs as they will still be at the educational level they were before, and it takes time to learn English, those same jobs and new ones will be there waiting on US born citizens who think they are do good to do them.
