Fred Thompson is a straight shooter. I loved how he plainly stated the facts about the matter. When he enters the '08 election he has my vote. And all the naysayers who are trying to demean him because he was an actor, and a lobbyist, is going to have a hell of a time doing so because unlike Bush, Thompson will defend himself against personal attacks and when he does it wont be pretty for the ones who started it! mwuahaha

What would Thompson be saying if the socialist who actually won the Mexican presidential election had been allowed to take office? Calderon is the best Mexican president the US would allow. What's next Freddy? A US military invasion?
All of the conservative political grandstanding on this issue will do nothing other than provide cover for US business to continue to pad its bottomline with sub-standard wages and work conditions.

Our country is taking lessons from them on paying low wages and how ordinary US Citizens have no effective worker protections from being fired to make money for upper management and owners.
There has to be a balance between making money and paying decent wages.
Fred Thompson will be a non-entity when the primary season heats up. He certainly should talk as if he wants to be the leader of this nation, which he obviously wasn't when he served in the U.S. Senate..he was an insider who now - magically - is running as if he has answers that politicos - like he once was - don't have the courage to facilitate. He certainly didn't have the courage then.
He is part of the Council of Foreign Relations which are pushing through the North American Union. I don't trust him...
