Personally, I think that all 'free trade' agreements (which actually perpetuate trade barriers and create an uneven trading field) created under the 'fast track' policy should be voted down, and restarted with Congressional input.

Fast tracking is just another way of saying, I do not want to say it out loud for fear that the American people will hear me, It is similar to handing someone that you do not trust your credit card with your shopping list and telling them to only get the items that you have on the list.
Our middle class can not withstand another "free trade" agreement, we always come out on the loosing end. The illegal immigrants may come out ok, but the middle class is going to take yet another knock to the chin... I wonder sometimes if people understand that the middle class is our backbone and if they fall so goes the economy...
This is Nafta with just another name on it is all.If you dont want Americans seeing you giving the country away, then fast tracking it is the way to go...thats why anything that I see the Govt fast-tracking is suspicious...Any trade agreeement should be explored first thru congrssional channels in my opinion...and even then, I am not sure that is all that should be done...
EDIT- The american middle class is already being squashed...I should know, I am one of them...as far as Immigration goes, I am sure that they will try to do open even more visa's to immigrants, thus depressing american wages even further...More american jobs will be lost.
I agree with Rabid Frog. This Country became great because of the middle class. We are the ones that are holding up the nation. We are the ones paying taxes to keep this country rolling.I was scared when I read the article.
THis might help GM though, since they own a piece of the Korean car manufacturer. As for the Korean, they are not the biggest fans of America Lately. Residue from American soldiers raping some child. Last I heard, they are aligned more with China.
