I've been saying that for a long time. Go after the employers who hire illegals. Fine them heavily. Take away ALL the profit they made from hiring illegals. If they continue, then throw them in prison.

I disagree. I think that no should complain about immigrants coming to America to start a better life. A lot of races immigrated to the United States a long time ago. Indians were the first on this land. For someone to say stop immigration is just ridiculous because our ancestors are immigrants.
Don't forget free medicare, and when their baby is born here it becomes a us citizen, put simply we just need a very large fence (750 miles) and military on the border.

yea lets let all the criminals in from other countries, that had absolutely no background check because they crossed the border illegally. and guess what i dated an illegal when i was 17 he nearly killed me because he thought i was cheating on him. so he got drunk and tried to kill me with a military knife he stole from my step-dad. and then smashed all my windows of my car because i got away. he only got 3 days in jail and 3 years probation. how retarded can our country get!

I would curb illegal immigration by building a wall across our southern border, complete with machine gun towers (which I would not hesitate to use). Also, I would place sensors in the ocean and use surveillance drone aircraft and satellites to supplement the Coast Guard in monitoring the oceans surrounding our borders. This would prevent illegals from attempting to get in by boat. I would also refuse to encourage illegals by offering them amnesty of any kind. They will live here in a legal limbo, always fearing exposure and deportation.

He studied immigration for the last 100yrs or so. When there were no limitations , people actually stayed for shorter periods . They came & went as the economy dictated , because there was no fear that they'd never be able to come back .Excuse me for not panicing, but there is no immigration "crisis" . The only crisis is that last year was an election year .

I think that each country that forces their citizens to flee to the U.S.A. must pay a fee per person. Any financial assistance we give that country should have a $10,000.00 deduction for every illegal immigrant caught.
Somewhat but illegals need to go back and start anew legally to ever have a place in America like the other millions of legal immigrants did!
