Which Embassy? Perhaps its because you are a young Moslem male? I have no idea where you are or to whom you are applying.
They would have some observations.
You need to go into more detail - where are you from and where do you want to go? There are several reasons why you can be refused a visa - and the embassy doesn't have to give you a reason.
if you are applying for the UK,that's maybe because we have enough immigrates.
i believe France needs some more,since everyone just passes through there..JUST to get to the UK..

any embassy have the right to refuse a visa application. They refuse to give visa to those people who they think has an intention to migrate to their country.
thye do not need to give a reason, they can just refuse, to find out you would have to ask the embassy, particulary as we do not know which countries embassy you are tal;king about. Could be anything in your past life, any convictions, could be the friends you keep and people you are associated with, could be problems with some of your relatives, could be that they do not believe the reasons you have put for visiting. Could be any one of hundreds of reasons.
