I am a mechanical engineer residing in Abu Dhabi having a total monthly salary of AED8,600. Will I be able to sponsor my husband for a residence visa in Abu Dhabi? He has a residence visa in Dubai sponsored by his company and would like to transfer with me rather than me going to Abu Dhabi and giving up my work. I am not sure if engineers are also included for those women able to sponsor residence visa for their husband (teachers, doctors and nurses are those I know). If I can, what steps and requirements I have to follow?

Sorry, you cannot able to sponsor your husband on residence visa in UAE. That is only limited for certain categories that you have already mentioned. If your husband got an offer from a company based in Abu Dhabi then he can transfer his residency from the existing company in Dubai to the new one
