Answer:
no
Apply for work in the US. If you had already stayed there for about five years, apply for a US resident greencard.

Ignore all the nasty comments, people are all fired up about the illegal immigration issue. But legal immigrants are welcomed in everyday.
I know 3 girls who won the green card lottery, it's possible, they say 50.000 every year
oh
Yes you can become a citizen. My neighbor is an immigrant from Germany and loves it here and is a wonderful person. She keeps her green card current and is ready to take the final steps. Contact US immargitation office and follow the steps and welcome to the USA. The hipe is over the people whom have crossed the borders illegal and are hiding here now. You must remember all Americans were immagrants at one time or another.
You seem smart and your English is almost too perfect. Perfect Legal edition to the US. Screw Canada eh, come to the US, you won't regret it.
First, you can actually become a citizen of the United States. You can also work here without becoming a citizen.
Second, Americans do not hate all foreigners. In fact, America is made up of foreigners. You will find many in the USA who do not like illegal aliens. These are people who sneak into the USA. This is against the law and nobody should do it. But, Americans love people who are legally here.
Third, How to become a citizen. First, and easiest is to have education and the ability to work here in a field which is considered a big need. For example if you were a programmer or if you were an engineer or even a doctor, there is a need for such fields of work so you would be able to get a priority work visa (Green Card). And, yes this Green Card program does work.
Other than that type of visa, you will be waiting for several years to get a work visa in the USA. The same is if you apply for citizenship. There is a long line of people wanting citizenship in the USA. You can apply just for exactly that, US Citizenship, and then wait, you will eventually be accepted, as we accept everyone without a bad record of breaking laws.
It is amazing that so many people say that the USA is bad, but there are millions of people who want into the USA and none who want out.
There is another type of illegal way to become a US citizen and that is through marriage. If you marry a US Citizen for the citizenship, it is illegal, however if you marry for love, and he happens to be a US Citizen, then it is legal. Being the wife of a US Citizen will get you priority on getting your citizenship papers.
I hope this helps.
1/2 of Americans are immigrants and the other 1/2 descendants of immigrants.
First off, you would have to find a job, someone who can sponsor you.
You can try the lottery visa
Or international student visa, there are scholarships out there for international students.
Russian is a language well needed here specially in courts as there is a shortage of Russian interpreters who can serve the Russian community in the courts AND there aren't sufficient Russian members in many profession/industries like Health industry (Doctors), retail (business), Law (attorneys) etc, etc.
Get your tourist visa first, come and check it out. Then if you like it, apply for your greencard or student visa or whatever you might be elegible for.
I know greencards are difficult to obtain unless you are married to a citizen or have been working for a company or something like that.
You need to visit the immigration website and enter chats and forum sof Russian ppl who have already come here, there is a huge Russian community here and therefore they need representation/professionals.
Good Luck
I know someone who won the green card lottery. It is real. I suppose if you have a job skill that we need here you can always apply from Russia. You can become a citizen here after 5 years.Good luck
first you can get into the U.S. by either getting a student visa or working visa. Once you've graduated and have an employer, the next step is to stick it out with your employer for about 4 years (just make sure they work on your green card before its too late). After you get your green card... poof! U.S. CITIZENSHIP
it is going to be very difficult. If you need a layer to help you it is also going to be very expensive (about $5000 for a greencard application).
I don't think there are many options to immigrate if you neither have close relatives nor a job. And even if you have a job offer it can take years until your application goes through. if you have a PhD and a good publication record it will be clearly easier than if you have a bachelors degree and no job experience. Also it will depend in which field you work. In some fields they are actually looking for workers. Look into national interest waiver, if you qualify for that it will speed up things.
uhh there are ways but im too dumb to figure them out but i think im not quite sure or not...mind you it would be kinda sucky but you can join the U.S. military and get citizenship that way i think because i think someone in my basic training sqaudron did that but im cant really remember it was over a year ago since basic and also im not sure if you have to be in the active military, or if you could be guard or reserve or what...i hope that helps...
P.S. everyone loves Russian girls ...some of the most beautiful girl in the world come from Russia!!
