If you were going to emmigrate to a foreign country, wouldn't you want to be accepted?
This past weekend there were a group of bikers of another race blocking the street so that traffic had to go down to one lane to get around them. They just looked at us with defiance. This was in my neighborhood, so do you think I want this kind of people out? Yeah, buddy!! Maybe if they hadn't blocked the street in the first place, maybe if they'd at least have moved out of the way and waved, maybe if they hadn't been looking at us white folks with their KMA looks, the feelings would be different. But they didn't do any of those things and they don't make themselves welcome.

Yes.....and I would figure it's my responsibility to try and fit in. If I couldn't exactly fit in, I'd at least not try and tick them off. I already know they have some negative opinions of Americans from obnoxious vacationers, so if I ever travel I have an idea of what things to be extra careful about.
Here it's so bad cities are trying to pass laws because it's so bad. The nation is in turmoil with specific things from coast to coast, and north to south.......you'd think it might be time for a little wake up call instead of intent to do more.
Why emigrate? I live in the best country in the world.
Feel free to leave though, more room for me and the illegals who mow my lawn.

This is exactly why we need to stop immigration. If you don't like America, then why do you come here at all? It angers me that so many people expect us to conform to them simply because they are foreign immigrants. They should be conforming to us! And many cultures are not very polite. Take the french, for example. They dislike anything that isn't French...
No, I would just want to take their jobs, their women, their wellfare, and anything else I could get while I was there to send home to my native country! VIVA LA RASSA!
They already don't feel welcome with all the hate and racism here. They are only being defensive and you also can't blame an entire group for one sub-sections actions. Many immigrants are the kind of people we would like to have here in fact they are better than you. But they are still not excepted. They are outcast by society and our superiority complexes.

On my way to take our family Christmas tree in to the recycling center in LA the thing fell right off the roof. (My ten year old SO wanted to be the one to tie it...)
There I was in the middle of the street, heaving the tree on the roof, alone, when three Spanish speaking fellows on bikes stopped and helped me get the tree secured, all while traffic was whizzing by at 50 mph.
No English speakers stopped, and I did wonder why these guys were on bikes unless they didn't have licenses (not a biking sort of street.)
Of course, they may have been legally here, but they were certainly immigrants.
It is nice to try to be the sort of people that we would want to have here. But lets acknowledge that some of them already are.

Of course we all like to be welcome wherever we go.
But if my neighbor doesn't want me over there...well that is his right. so I go somewhere else. I sure that hell don't go over there anyway and help myself to what belongs to him and his kids. I tend to let people in my house as long as they ask first, then show me and my family respect. I have kicked three people out of my house in the last 20 years. Two thought they owned my place...the other was a thief. Illegal aliens seem to have similar traits.
I personally see a HUGE difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration.
To the law abiding, legal immigrants, I say "welcome". Unless a person is 100% native American, we are all, at least in part, decended from immigrants.
But, to the illegal immigrants, I say don't expect a thing. Go home, come back the right way - by abiding our laws.
