On the spanish-language news they say they that if the bill passes, illegals will have to pay $5000 each in fines which they will use to fund the border and workplace enforcement measures. Then, AFTER all of those measures are in place (probably a few years) people can get their papers if they go to their home countries first. But, they are saying it's a trick because once the gov't has your money and has you in another country, they can just deny you back in and you have no recourse because you have no rights (not being a citizen/permanent resident and not even being in the country!) What do you think, is it just a way to swindle illegals before deporting them??

I think they will pass the bill, even though the majority of Americans, eighty percent in the last poll I saw, want our leaders to drop the bill completely.
What's funny is that the bill gives illegals everything up front in the form of legalizing their citizenship, and then sets up these "hoops" for them to jump through in the future. Well, they've proven that they have no intention of following our laws and regulations, so its all smoke and mirrors.
There is no enforcement of our laws now, and there won't be any enforcement of the "immigration requirements" later.
This is a complete SELL-OUT by our "bought and paid for" politicians. Big corporations will get more cheap labor, and we Americans will just get more people living among us who don't even want to go to the trouble of learning our language, much less becoming American.
Come here legally, learn our language, assimilate and become American, and you will find open arms.

Facts are wrong first of all. But first things first. Some form of the bill will pass because of the influence of cooperate America, big business won't let this die. They have to much money in the lobbiest in congress and in the senate. So don't be a fool, it will pass in some form. Second. The amount they will be asked to pay is $3000. Notice that I said asked to pay. There is a provision in the bill that says if the immigrant and the family live in poverty or make less than "I believe it's $40,000 a year" then they can be exempt from having to pay the amount all together. Third. The payments are not that of a lump sum, they are split up into monthly payments made over a 10 year period. Just thought you might enjoy some of this imformation. Well, the governments of the world (NWO) have vested interests in this bill and that is why it is firmly being crammed down our throats! You may not be aware, but there are plans to create a North American Union, where Mexico, the United States and Canada will eventually become one big superstate, with a single currency and a single superhighway system. This was settled between President Bush, President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin during their March 2005 summit meeting in Waco, Texas. The global elite rigidly support this third-world invasion of America, and that is why the fence has not been built yet. The United States/ Mexico border must be erased for the implementation of the North American Union. It's all about profit, cheap labor, and big BU$INE$$.

everyone has said that the $5000 they will have to pay will go to rebuilding the wall.
