Dont think that will happen..at least not for a long time...once over-stayed, you have accumulated what is known as "bad time"...upon leaving the US, you will be slapped with a 3 to 10 year ban...after that, it will be up to the discretion of USCIS...
NO. I visited US with a tourist visa and it ran out. Went to Federal Building in San Diego to see what I could do and was told I would have to return to australia to reapply-they do not extend nor re-issue B5 tourist visas while in the country.
The immigration officer I saw asked me "Have you ever heard of the saying - 'up **** creak without a paddle? Because that's where you are!!"
