Mexico is exporting its unemployed to us. So I think we should
start by doing Business with Mexico, until they stop this

Congress just passed a bill that can get an employer who knowingly hires illegal workers UP TO 30 YEARS IN PRISON.
I'd say that's a pretty good tackle.
They are not "brave" for coming over here. They are criminals. PERIOD.
As for the employers, they are criminals, too.
How about we quit making everything bilingual? How about we quit letting them turn nice areas of town into little Mexico?
Just because they are poor in their country does not make them stupid. They know, damn good and well, that they are breaking the law when they come over here.
Therefore, the employers are not the only ones who should be held accountable for the illegal immigration problem.
We have laws on the books meant to deal with illegal immigrants and the people that hire them.
Are you a genie? If you are, quit your profession.
Give it up. Corporate greed opposes you.
I have no problem with free enterprise. I admire both those who seek to enrich themselves through gainful employment and those who fill a market niche with valuable services/products. If we truly wish to attack the "problem", we should focus on eliminating social programs for the "less fortunate". The Robin Hood mentality in this country MUST end if we wish to once again prosper as a nation.
Because "we" don't get to make the decisions. "We" just make blind votes and make it worse for ourselves. "We" are the ones to blame, not the leaders.
I just have to wonder what part of "illegal" people don't understand.
I agree that we need to enforce tougher penalties on employers for hiring illegals. Employers in my city seem to get a pass most of the time when they get raided.
As for treating the illegals with more respect, I don't think so. They don't even respect themselves. They work for sub-standard wages. They live in the worst neighborhoods and they refuse to adhere to America's laws. They also have little respect for Americans. They drive around without a driver's license or insurance. They repeatedly drive around drunk. They are constantly destroying property and then using their language barrier as an excuse. Speaking of which, why won't they learn English so that they can conduct themselves properly. Instead, they stare at us with a confused look and then do what they want to.
I would gladly respect anybody who respects themselves and me. Their actions dictate the way they get treated.
I agree 100 %. America is as strong as it's weakest link. Unfortunately, greedy employers opt to fatten their own pockets while our economy is shot. Until America fixes America, we won't be able to rid ourselves of problems like illegal immigration.
what's weak about entering a country illegally. crossing the rio grande, climbing a fence, going underground tunnel or crossing the desert? they should go after the employers, too.
First off one is correct in saying that if we there is no jobs for them then they wouldn't be coming over.
However are we suppose to knock on every door to ensure that people are hiring them privately to watch thier children, and do their housework, or maintain their yards??
As for harrassment, how is one harassing these people?? By deporting them? No that's the sentence for the law they broke.
Remember they are the ones that announced their crimes by marching in the streets and demanding we change our laws for them. I am sure many people near the boarder are aware of the problem of illegals but it's spread out and made more aware of the illegal problem when they were marching on our streets pooping and doing what ever else while they were marching on the streets.
I agree with alot of what you say. We should treat them kindly as we deport them. And as you said taking away the attraction is necessary. So is boarder enforcement.

Yes we should have stiff fines and jail time for employers what hire illegals. I have seem the tapes of illegals sneaking across the borders in the dead of night, no I do not see bravery I see cowardice and law breaking. If they want to be brave have them form trade unions, organize and vote for change, so that they can stay home. If they want freedom they need to risk life and limb, and stop bellying achy and stop the poor me song and dance

Drug Cartels & other "Open Border" threats, and their effect and danger in our
cities and to our youth.
June 16th (U.S.A)- "Secure Borders March for America National Rally". Key

Stop the employers who emplao illegal immigrants and stop welfare!
Down here in Oz when you migrate you have to wait at least 2 years before you are entitled to welfare. So we dont have this big immigrant issue. Also when you want to migrate you have to prove that you have some descent diploma of some sort. No work is no money.
I found it outrages how the goverment pays benefits immigrants so easely!
