Will the Illegal immigrants kill the immigration bill for us?
The bill would give temporary legal status to millions of unlawful immigrants, provided they came forward, paid a fine and underwent criminal background checks. To apply for a green card, they would have to pay another fine, learn English, return to their home country and wait in line. The plan also would create a guest worker program. It would allow foreign laborers to come to the U.S. for temporary stints, yet with no guarantee they can eventually gain citizenship.
Both the new visa plan and the temporary worker program are contingent on other steps coming first. Those include fencing and barriers along the Mexico border, the hiring of more Border Patrol agents and the completion of an identification system to verify employees' legal status. The continued inflow from mexico will derail the plan alone, but how many of these people do you think will pay 2 fines learn English (yeah right) and go home to apliy for a green card? Not too many!!

Someone read something.But seriously if you read the bill many of the questions I see on here would be answered.Such as What happens if they don't follow the rules and do what is asked.The way the laws stand now police officers and our courts don't have the power granted to arrest and detain an illegal immigrant for being illegal.Once the bill passes they will be allowed to.Much better than the catch and release bill of 1986.I can't go into full detail on every aspect on here that's why I try to give people web sites to go to and give bits and pieces of it here and there as asked.I am NOT pro illegal.I am very ANTI illegal.But I do see a need to do something MORE than is currently being done.For very personal reason I am very passionate on this subject.If anyone wishes to know privately my e-mail address is open.Thanks

That is a great question. How will actually say they are illegal. I dont think the bill will get passed the House though. 200 or more Republicans are against this bill in the House.
Once they realize what they really have planned for them and their native countries I think they will and tell all of them where to go with it! Most of them are Christian. It is Not good for any nation.

Oh, its all such a joke, you know and I know they are not going to pay a dime in fine's, go home and wait in line. Why would they, they know nothing will be done about it. If we can't, so the government says, round that many up then I need an explanation of how they will round them up to pay their fines.

Here is an ideal. Take all the illegal immigrants and send them to Iraq, Darfur, and Afgan. You want to be a citizen? Then you have to suffer like every other race that has been here for years.
This way we can pay them less, they get jobs and everything is back to normal. I know this sounds crazy, but no more crazy then illegals acting like they have rights to the USA wealth.

Bush is trying to push this through with the B.S. spin he put on it today. Just as with the past two immigration reforms, this reform is not going to work.
The only effective control will be achieved via absolute border security. And to accomplish that we would have to have all our troops returned from Iraq, Afghanistan, S. Korea, Germany, etc., etc., etc., etc. They could then be posted along our borders - at intervals that would not permit a rabbit to pass without their knowledge.
These endless reforms are sort of like the cold war with the missile, anti-missile, anti-anti missile, etc. It seems to never end. If we don't stop them at the border this "shamnesty" congress offers is a leaky bucket. Not worth a damn because it won't hold water and won't get the job done.

It doesn't matter if the bill is passed or not. The illegal aliens are NOT going to comply with the requirements (i.e. coming forward, paying a fine, returning to their country to wait in line)
