Why is there too much racism in the US??
I just saw in the news about minutemen going on churches outdoors because of illegal immigrants staying in them as their home and minutemen protesting and being dressed as the devil and saying strong language, saying stuff about our culture, and talking about mexican food..yeAh, I said MExican fOOd?? Why is that??

Because some people have certain ideas of arrogance and superiority, that let them see themselves as far better than others. This is partly fueled by centuries of inability for people to accept new, and different practices. Hence, the whole concept of racism sprung up. Wars that use propaganda contribute to demonizing the enemy, something that after the war has ended, still sticks in the minds of soldiers and civilians. These people then teach the next generation, and hence, it continues. The very first replier particularly expressed this emotion, but for all of his God Bless America and the Troops, he evidentially forgot that the Bible stresses tolerance and acceptance. For alot of Americans (Not all mind you, but a fair bit), I find they're very arrogant purely because they currently have the most powerful armed forces at the moment. They believe they are the pinnacle of perfection, gifted by God. To tell the truth, that line of thinking puts them on a par with the Muslim extremists, no better than those who committed 9/11.

I don't feel like it is racism, I feel like it is stereotyping. A person is witness to so many illegals who are hispanic and then becomes against any hispanics. Just as if a person grows up in a black neighborhood that may be full of crime, then they will grow up prejudiced against blacks. It can even be the same as someone in the southern states migrating to the northern states, then returning home because the people in the northern states are different. Then the person is prejudiced against all northerners.
I also think it is just a way of people, not necessarily people of only this country.
It's not just the US. Every single culture on this planet has something against some ethnic group. Mostly it's against americans. But women, blacks, jews, people with disabilities, muslims, christians, non-christians, fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks, and a partridge in a pear tree all are hated for something. If you ever figure out how to stop it or why it occurs, you let me know!

Look it isn't racist to want people that are sponging off the resources of this country, that are here illegally, to leave. Further more it seems that there are a lot of criminals getting over here these days. We have had a huge influx of migrant workers coming to the small town I live in, and crime has sky rocketed as a result. They wamnt to change the street signs to be in Spanish and English now, and I think that is pure BS.

We have to go deep and remember that US uses community approach in their schools whereas Europe use mostly constructivism. Great difference They can speed in Germany up to 240 mph and have a beer in their car without having a DUI AND GUESS what they have much less accident compared to America they have much less DUIs per capita and all of this is because America is taught to obvey whereas Europe to think question answered?
They learn it from their parents and it is pass on to their kids.It is mostly from white people but not" all "white people.. They hate all dark and brown skin people . They also think they are smarter and "better" than the darker people, but thank God they are not.When you bring up this discussion these same white people will call you the racist. You would eventually have learned all this unless you stay secluded. I am a racist against this people but I did not learn it from my parents. If one specific group of people were constantly causing trouble in your life I could see a conflict of that nature bringing the worst out in someone. (as in the minutemen and others near the borders who are dealing with it much more then the rest of us)
That is just one more reason for us to get this under control, look what it is doing to some of us.
Racism is in the world because people only view their own agendas in life, all people have good and bad in every race, the Anglo has ruled this country for about 250 years they see that, they are losing out in being the majority in this country and are striking out at their enemy, us the Mexican. Try to keep in the proper perspective, that all people are equal, your black, Filipino friends, attempt to get along with all people,( Whites also )remember to be nice to all good people no matter what color they are, and do not let anyone disrespect you for who you are.

Sorry for my response, but there is this character who goes by Foley and basically states " he hates every color, race, nation, except for what he is, and it disgusts me how ignorant and uneducated people could be. Now his response is gone.

actually the U.S is probably the least racist country in the west. Mexicans/blacks/asians are treated 10 times worse in Europe than here. I live in TX with alot of hispanics mainly from Mexico and I love their culture, we travel to mexico and i can speak spanish, I think if alot of americans understand hispanic culture then they wouldnt have so much hatred for hispanics
