Since we are being told "Go back to Europe" I am taking a poll. How many US Citizens here were born in Europe?

We are being told by illegals and supporters of illegal immigrants that this is "their land" which we bought and paid for ( just like their welfare benefits, free hospital care, food stamps etc), and that if we don't like having illegal immigrants here, we should "go back to Europe".
I for one was not born in Europe. For me to "go back there" would mean that I would be illegally entering and living in another country. I don't happen to be so low as to do that. Sort of a trashy thing to do, does anyone agree?
So, I have no other country to "go back to" as I was born here.
Sound off people.
If you are against illegal immigration, do you have another country you can "go back to" or were you born here on US soil ( counts as US soil if you are a military brat born overseas to military parents)?
No supporters of illegal immigration need answer, YOU aren't being told to leave your own country.

Answer:
Born and raised in the good 'ol USA!! Fought for this country also. This land is MY land!!
I was born in Houston, Texas USA. I've never been to Europe and I don't know anyone there. JC's got a good point.
Never been east of Illinois.
Not me. Never even been to Europe.

Go Skittles!!! Cheers!
The people of the United Kingdom, who share a common language and culture as the majority of Americans, aren't even eligible to participate in the annual lottery for citizenship.

Europe is a great place to visit...but I certainly would NOT want to live there.
I think you miss the point. What I am saying is, since you critize Mexican's for coming here illegally and why don't they fix their homeland, ask yourself why didn't your ancestors do the same?

First of all your making a point? Or asking a question? Or perhaps a rant? I for one, don't support his idea of US giving back these lands.I don't tell you to go back to Europe, I am simply pointing out the hypcrisy of some of you people. It was good enough for your ancestors to come here, invade the land and now you judge Mexican's for doing it...Its karma, and a law of the universe, so quit moaning about it, it isn't going to change...
Last I checked Mexico ceded land to the United States in 1848 and the U.S. Govt gave the Mexican Govt money in return and U.S. citizenship was granted to Mexicans living in those areas that wanted to stay (since they were born in land now annexed to the United States), and in 1853 the U.S. bought more land from Mexico (The Gadsen purchase).

I have never been to Europe and I certainly wasn't born in Europe, I was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA so therefore I am in my own Country.
My mother, father, brother, sister and myself, two sons and grandchildren are born in America.
100% American, this is my country!
blah, blah, blah. take a pill.

don't you mexican haters ever take a rest?
As an African American I can say that I totally feel this post in that I get tired of hearing "Go back to Africa!" It is hard to return to a place where you have never been. I am sick of illegals getting more privileges than citizens. They can qualify for housing, grants, etc. That is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. That is like allowing all those people in jail out and let them roam around just because. The U.S. government would not stand for that and I really wish there was a more vested interest in illegal immigration like there is in the war. The illegal immigrants are not good for our economy, welfare, or education system. Pouring resources into training teachers to speak a language other than English and spend so many hours to find resources is ridiculous. Do you think the Chinese, Japanese, or Mexican governments would require the same of their school systems? I seriously doubt it. Illegals are welcome into the country IF and WHEN they follow the proper legal procedures that have been set forth to protect both them and us! What is so hard about following the rules? Life is better in the U.S- well good. Follow the rules to get over here so that you can stay legally and reap the benefits of citizenship!
California, USA
I was born in Spain but my family moved to Mexico when I was 10. I'm a Legal Resident.

If I'm told to go back their. I'd have no problem "going" back. But I can see why people born in the United States would be offened by such remarks.
Faith I agree with you totally on this subject. These illegals say this is their land and that the U.S. stole it. I wonder if they remember they got beat in a war and are lucky the U.S. didn't take the whole damn country. Even paid them for it.
I was born in Illinois, and Im not going anywhere! The illegals, and their anchor babies should be dumped in a desert in mexico, then " their familias wont have to be split up."
I am not against immigration but I am against ILLEGAL immigration. Either do it the right way and pay some freakin' taxes or go home. If all the people who were born here (all races) or came over here LEGALLY went back to our country then who would pay for all the ILLEGALS medical care, welfare, foodstamps, ect... If you didnt come here legally or you have a problem with the way we do things here (including speaking ENGLISH), then I am sure we can find some tax dollars to get you a one way trip out. ~God Bless America~
Some of my ancestors where native American Indians . And I was born here. This is where I am staying !
I was born in the USA.( part Native American) I do have a apt. in Eastern Europe that my husband and I go to every year for 6 months. Just to enjoy life.We are working class skilled labors and nobody gave us anything, we did it ourselves. We are also close to retirement age so we are able to just pack up and leave. We live very modestly in both places. As far as being told to leave the USA, I would never give up my US citizenship and neither would my husband. No
other countries would take in the people of the USA, it is ridiculous. Spain would never take in the Mexicans either.
I was born in California. My ancestors came LEGALLY from Europe in the mid 1800s.

Since this land is NOT Mexico, how can they tell us to go back to Europe? They weren't born here! The illegals should go back to where they were born.
I, too, was born in the USA as have been many, many generations of my family. There is no point that's needed to be made, we are Americans through and through. As far as the illegals go, they've played the race card, it's our land, we deserve to be here because a thousand years ago my people roamed here. Good grief, they're simply illegals invaders of an already established land looking for handouts any way they can get them. Try to ignore simple minded people as they have no concept of laws or what they mean.
Well, I was born in New York and spent my entire life in New England. I don't know if you'd count that as America (Ha ha.)
The US had every right to annex land from Mexico because it went to great use. Mexico lacked a strong value system. Our Founding Fathers built a nation of strong values of freedom that with time, eventually got rid of de jure racism and lead to the establishment of many successful institutions such as our public schools and film industry.

Mexico considered invading the southwest during their revolution(during which they finally established some values and began to steadily improve!) but the US was easy on them. When the Zapatistas took over, the US and Mexico went from enemies to friends and Mexico has been slowly improving. Mexicans should become more like the industrial Americans of the past and study history to learn that equality was earned with a solid work ethic and then they can improve Mexico, or succeed in America if they apply for a legal visa.
Sorry, I was born here in Chicago. Still live in suburban Chicago...does that mean I have to go back into the city where the rent is 1/3 of what we pay now?

Oh damn...
I was not born in Europe. And that is all I got to say about that Forrest.

Actually, it is just a weak argument presented to justify their criminal activity. That would be like me saying... geez. 300 years ago I could go almost anywhere and dig up gold and keep it... therefore I feel justified breaking into your home and taking the gold I find...

I know this is a stupid analogy... but when you think about it... so is theirs.

BTW... well said skittles
never been out of america.born and raised in San Diego, California!
I was born in the USA and I dare anyone to tell ME I don't belong here!
Many US citizens are born on foreign soil, Europe has birthed millions of American military dependents. The fact that they were born in another country did not automatically give them citizenship rights. They couldn't just go back if they wanted to.

The United States does recognize birth right citizenship.

The humor in your proposition is in the irony of its implications. The fall back position of illegal immigration supporters has always been emotional dribble and irrelevant arguments that have no basis in fact, law or historical reference.

I think science has shown that the origin of man lay somewhere in east Africa.I suppose we are all Africans.
I wasn't born in Europe. I was born in a (the only) hospital in Daily City, California.

Illegals are mostly Mexicans, whom are the decendants of Spanish conquistadores. The land that is supposedly theirs was taken from its original owners by guys like Hernando Cotez and Fransisco Coronado.

By their logic: killing the inhabiotants makes it your land.
Therefore, we should kill all of them - then the land is ours.

Makes sense to me . . .

!!LOCK AND LOAD!!

P.S. I am 1/2 Cherokee. This land is more mine than theirs. . . you are all welcome to stay as my guests.
Born in Portland, Oregon and proud of it!

Family has been here so many generations that we now have Native Indian and black blood in the family tree.

Gee, guess I don't have to leave here to go anywhere else.
