You can protest, write your representatives, vote, etc. People who talk about extreme measures like civil war and revolutionary war are radical, young, and do nothing but make the situation worse. You don't know what bad is.
Unfortunately you are correct, the politicians fight a war "over there" to keep them "over there" then let them over the border. The country is split on the war and immigration. Yes something drastic is on its way.

It would be more of a Revolutionary War than a Civil War... The only way we would get a Civil War would be if all the new illegals decided to abdicate from the United States and take all the Border states with them... Of course then they would have to pay for their own education and medical bills, so you won't have to worry about a Civil War.
The main problem is the majority of people are sayers and not doers. Anyone can say or write anything, but the next day they will continue to go on about their daily routines doing nothing about the situation except gripe and complain.

We heard about the " A Day without Mexicans" rally, lets try "A Day without Americans." and it has to do more with gas prices than immigration. I propose Tuesday June 5th everyone do as little business and as little going out as possible. Don't go out to eat or to the store or for a drive, if you have vacation time coming burn a day, its summer. Don't call customer service unless you have to, use the Internet to pay your bill and communicate. I'm not trying to hurt the US economy but it the restaurants and store and call centers are slower than normal then someone might take notice. What if a few businesses even decided to close that day. There employees would not have to drive to work, less people would go out after work and generally use less gas. Instead of a gas boycott lets just pick a day to relax and do nothing. If you like my ideal take it as your own, call a talk radio show if you want and post it elsewhere. And if you think its a bad ideal tweak it to make it work.
