Unless you are 100% American Indian I wouldn't recommend you ask questions like this. You obviously given any thought to what you are asking. By the way the forefathers were not from here. They came from Scotland, England, Ireland, France, Germany, Holland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, etc.
I'm English-Canadian, and the answer is Yes, because those "vagabonds" don't just come with a mouth. They come with 2 hands and a brain not unlike your own.
All arguments against international migration are false. Job and housing markets self-regulate migration within the U.S., and they can do the same internationally. In Canada, the immigrants are doing just fine. I'm sure you have seen the same thing with your own eyes where you live.

I sometimes think there is some kind of plan to destroy all we believe in. Sadly tho, nothing much we as individuals can do about it, except to vote those dipwads out of office. At the same time tho, it seems that when a person gets elected to a position of trust ,they become greedy , and it's either just about them, cause what they do won't neccessarily affect them ,or that they have plenty of money and a cushy job which in most cases won't cause them any grief. And all in Congress and the Senate get the same money or close to it after they leave office for life, and it sure is a lot more than Social Security that most of us get. I am 73 years young and have never seen our country in such a mess. Wish I had a solution.......bj

I love your use of that terminology. And the answer is of course no, we should not. Americans built America . They fought and died to make and keep this great nation free. And now this group of interloping criminal trespasser's are trying to change America into the third world poverty ridden hole they ran away from.

there have been immigrants from all over the world who didn't get here speaking crystal clear english, and they are still part of this great nation. they and their decendants who love respect and defend this country, are part of what makes this nation great.so in response to your question i do believe that since we infact were all "vagabonds" then yes i do believe it is acceptable to turn over this beautiful country of free men and women to others wishing to be free as well.

We lose more to US citizens having "crack babies" that the public must support than we do to hardworking people no matter where they were from.
Still, immigration must be controlled. Mexico has always had a higher quota than (for instance) eastern Europe, even when the Eastern Europeans were trying to escape Nazi or Communist dictators, in fear of their lives. Many lost their lives because they were denied entry to the US. Does someone who wants more opportunity (?) trump someone who wants to not be murdered next week?
The key word here is "casually". We should never hand over citizenship casually to any group. I believe our forefathers would agree that no immigration law should be skirted or treated casually. If immigrants apply for citizenship and go through the process legally, then they are certainly welcome.
