Now that's a good question. I wish we could get half of the clowns in Washington to be able to answer that question. From my 60 years of life from what I can tell.
They run for office.
Waste most of the money they steal from us.
Run for office.
Vote for pay raises for congress.
Run for office.
Tell us what everyone else is doing wrong with no solutions.
Have parties to impress people on how well they waste our money to get more contributions to run for office.
I agree with you.They can't make it much tighter at the airports, it is already insane with everyone running around with shoes in hand.
Yeah, and after the Fort Dix terrorists illegally came that way (a number of them) you would think that might be a priority, wouldn't you?
However, I don't mind high alert for the airports, either, under the circumstances. They are saying the 'chatter' is at a level reminiscent of just before 9/11. (Check out the Newsweek article yesterday.) It would be irresponsible not to excercise appropriate care, in that case.
Politicians, all of whom, Dem and Rep, are wealthy, got that way by investing in industry.
Their buddies in industry want a pool of uneducated workers so they can pay below minimum wage, and avoid taxes. So, the politicians keep our border to the south open to maintain a supply of illegal aliens.
