Do yo feel these raids are happening often enough?
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said this week's raid in Portland, in which most of the 167 arrested were line workers, represents the new approach.
Arrests of workers solely for being in the United States illegally went from 445 in fiscal 2003 to 3,667 during the fiscal year ending last Sept. 30 and this year's numbers are expected to be even higher.

Answer:
We need a lot more of these raids, lots of Americans would love the jobs that illegals have forced them out of.
I see nothing wrong with this. Illegals are costing us billions annually. The outrage of not enforcing the laws is like nothing I have ever seen
I guess I'm lucky enough to live in a small town where twice a year they round up the illegals and send them back home.
I live next door to the mayor and he gives me a head's up when they are going to make there raids and we go and watch it. it's very entertaining.....
HE!! no there not happening enough. With many millions of illegals in this country there should be several raids per week.
No they are not.
the ones that get sent home( and ripped away from there families)always come back
These raids should be conducted on a nation-wide basis daily. They may say this is a new approach, but Eisenhower did it in the 50's and many fled rather than be apprehended.
It was effective then. Would be effective now.
No they are not doing it often enough. They should them daily all over the country at different locations. Doing it once in a while is'nt going to get much done about this growing problem in our country.
Not really, but it's a start. They busted some here in Ohio, too. It's about time. They were also factory workers and I can't help wondering whose ID they ripped off to get hired in the first place?
