I'm marrying an irish citizen, Now what do i do to stay in Ireland?
Answer:
Apply for a spouse visa, and once inside, apply for a permanent residency, based on marriage.
It's important to come on a marriage visa, they won't give you residency or acknowledge your application if you come as a tourist.
If you aren't married yet it isn't too late to call of the marriage to the Irish drunk. Why would you want to live in Ireland your whole life anyway and eat potatoes?
get aIrish citzen if you can?
Can't you goto England, get your passport stamped and have another 3 months/90 days on the tourist visa?
Apply for a married couples visa/residence visa in the meantime.
Contact the Irish embassy, not the us embassy.
you need to work fast girl go to the department of justice and law reform web site. as you are not married yet you have that problem. i have a similar problem for my wife and that is that for her to get a pernament visa to stay in ireland i have to have a full time job. you need a rent agreement lease. bank statement from your husband among other things. ask about that first. by the way the muppet underneath. ireland is not full of beer drinking potatoes eating slobs. We are the coolest in the world. go get him girl.
Ask to the Irish Consulate or Embassy via e-mail
An Irish citizen is permitted to have their foreign-national spouse reside with them. As you are not a citizen of the European Union(EU), European Economic Area or Switzerland you will first require a visa to come to Ireland. A visitor's visa is valid for 3 months and if you want to stay longer you will have to register with the local immigration registration officer. After registering you will be issued with an "Immigration Certificate of Registration" which is evidence that you are legally resident in Ireland. When you have filled the residency requirements you can then apply for Irish citizenship.
