Have you heard the good news concerning sanctuary cities?

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. House of Representatives this morning voted to withhold federal emergency services funding for "sanctuary cities" that protect illegal immigrants.

Extremely good news. This is a shot across the bow of the Senate telling them that the House is not going to pass the amnesty bill even if the Senate does.
Should the Senate decide to not pass this enforcement bill I think it will bode quite unfavorably for any seeking re-election in 08. And I think that any Senator who votes for this bill despite AMericans demanding against it, well they should all be replaced.
AMerica needs to use this issue a spring board to say NO, we are mad as ehll and we are not going to take it anymore. Either Congress begins to represent us or we FIRE them.
I hope it happens, Congress and AMerica need a wake up call.
While this is good news, drunk Ted Kennedy and his illegal lovers in the senate will never pass it.
What?! The government is going to enforce the law?! Huh?!
This makes no sense. I thought the whole purpose of the government was to punish hard-working, law-abiding people and reward the shiftless lawbreakers.
Now I'm confused.
I've always felt that, if they would enforce the present laws then, our borders would be safe. It's crazy to come up with a new bill when nothing ever gets done at all about the laws that are now waiting to be enforced. If they want a new bill then let it read.." ENFORCE THE PRESENT LAWS WITH URGENCY"
Sounds like a good start,I would rather have seen them withhold all federal funds of any kind from sanctuary cities, but some things have to be done incrementally.

Well, crap, that leaves out my current town (and hometown) of Phoenix, AZ! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! There's hundreds of thousand of those bastards here!
I heard,good news indeed!
The good news is that the House isn't as blind to the needs and wishes of American citizens. The bad news will come when the blind, deaf and DUMB among the Senate votes down this important measure.
So when the big earthquake hits we will be not only the wrong color state but the wrong color city. No outrageous mishandled Katrina funding for us. We will be screwed. Pardon my American. Not helping.
