That is just wrong, I do not see how any anti or pro could be agreeable to using La Raza for a bill to give citizenship. It is like putting the fox in the hen house and coating the hens with BBQ sauce (a play on the above post, lol).
From what I understand La Raza is saying shut the borders completely to all immigration right at this point.And get some kind of reform going for the ones here now not just the Hispanics but all illegals.Sounds kind of smart to me not to allow more in before the situation at hand is taken care.

Congress should not use any special interest groups to conduct a bill for Americans period. Kennedy so needs to get with the program and many other politicians and for once be for the people.
Using La Raza as an adviser is no worse than using the Chamber of Commerce as both are out to screw the American middle class. Actually La Raza's goals are not as sinister as the Chamber of Commerce's. The Chamber of commerce is intent on reducing wages paid to Americans by out sourcing as many jobs as possible, thus increasing profits of corporations engaged in international commerce.
The "North American Union" will allow transportation corporations to move operations to Mexico, hire Mexican drivers & fire the higher paid American truckers. Their main target is the "independent trucker" & the Teamster's Union here in the US. Their argument is "these higher wages increase the price of goods here in the US."

People of Congress wonder why there has been a decline in the voter turn out. The people can no longer have faith in their elected officials that their best interests are being upheld. I will still put my life on the line for this country, even if the government is less willing ot do anything for me.
