Do you feel that groups such as La Raza should be allowed to exist?

Do you feel that groups such as La Raza should be allowed to exist and receive federal funds?

Answer:
Exist? Maybe. But should we be supporting such groups with tax money? We might as well give grants to the KKK. Businesses such as Home Depot are official partners and sponsors of La Raza (with official signed agreements to hire mostly hispanics regardless of legal status). If any business financially supported the KKK (or perhaps a decent white pride group) and hiring of whites in particular they would likely be prosecuted as terrorists. And heaven forbid any group teach white pride and culture. We aren't allowed to have any or if we do we are racist. We sure wouldn't get any government funds, as it is politically incorrect these days for whites to have equal rights.

I would like to say that I don't really mind a group existing that supports hispanics. What I object to is their support of illegal immigration and the fight for special privileges for them. This should not be payed for by the people (all average income citizens) who are being hurt most by this problem. That's like being billed for your own persecution.

no
Any group thay supports illegal activity should not be allowed to exist.
You don't say what "federal funds" they are receiving. So how can anyone answer the question?
Yes. La Raza is a good group and they get money from lots of people. Just look at their website. If they weren't good then people wouldn't support them.
Absolutely not. Groups like La Raza are nothing more than racist groups trying to push the agenda of people who have no rights in the U.S. They're nothing more than $hit starters. They need lives and JOBS. Perhaps the people working for groups like La Raza can do the so-called "jobs Americans don't want to do" instead of causing trouble.
allowed to exist,,,yes

state or federal funds, ,,hell no

it's mostly funded by white people,,,,the same people that the group wants to destroy,,,,ironic
La Raza is a racist hate group, based upon the lie that Mexicans owned North America first. Their objective is the dismantling of the United States.
Anybody that is pro-illegal should not be allowed to exist. How can anyone justify criminal activity. Illegals suck
exist maybe, govt funded NO, re-named sure las ratsas
Exist, sure.
Get Federal funds, why?
What do they do, what would they use the money for?
I'm guessing it's a political group someone dislikes, maybe I'll
Google it and find out what it is now.
There are two different groups One is La Raza Unida which is as racists as the kkk and there is La Raza .La Raza Unida advocates the killing of all people that aren't brown and the hostile take over of the US southwest.La Raza is a service organization for Hispanics.I do not know if they are affiliated or not. They receive government funds like the NAACP does.As far as I can find out La Raza Unida does not.If anyone has a link that says differently Id like to have it please.
No racists groups of any color should receive any government funding. That's simply asinine

READ PLEASE

We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party

AND THIS
"If anyone's going to be deported, it's going to be you! ... Get out! We are the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you – leave like beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Right now, we're already controlling those elections, whether it's by violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we're going to take over." Augustin Cebada, information minister of Brown Berets, militant para-military soldiers of Aztlan shouting at U.S. citizens at an Independence Day rally in Los Angeles.
Which La Raza group are you talking about.
Yes the Klan is allowed to protest aren't they? The NAACP gets goverment money so why not an organization supporting hispanics.
La Raza is a racist group. They are the Hispanic version of the KKK. I really don't care if there are two versions of La Raza since the group never indicates that there is a difference.

Even if it is a "service"group like one person said, the attitude of any group that talks about one race over another is wrong. Just like the KKK is wrong, so is La Raza. They should not receive any federal funds.

They care about "the race." They don't care about America.
An answer and a question:

No, it is a racist organization that has the propensity to become violent.

Question: It recieves federal funding? That is corrupt. From where does it recieve the funding in the government?
no. they are the brown KKK. are govt needs to band them from practicing their hate agents Americans.
Allowed to exist yes. I mean how can the white supremacy groups and nambla be allowed to exist and not them.
federal funds absolutely not.
La Raza". does not promote hate against anybody, contraries to other groups. La Raza is a support group and not a divisory group. Most Hispanics keep being discriminated against now days and need all the help they can get, I know you wish there was no body that provides this needed help to this minority and you can easily get your way with them.
No...I do not.
They're a terrorist organization. No.
First of all,to all those people who oppose this group and label it as "racist",why don't you get your facts straight, and do some research before you come up with some pompous answer.Groups like the La Raza are fighting against discrimination and standing up for their civil rights, and as far as comparing them to the kkk..I advise you to take a look at this website..before you come up with any further assumptions.

No and No. And they should not receive corporate funds. And corporate sponsers should not receive anyones business.
Absolutely NOT.
Yes, in Mexico or Latin America not in the USA and please take with them ACLU, we don't need them.
AND for the pro illegals this: I loved this...today. ..so so true...now more than ever....

Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes
here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us,
he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is
an outrage to discriminate again st any such man because of creed, or
birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's
becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an
American...There can be NO divided allegiance here. Any man who says he
is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We
have room for but ONE flag, the American flag... We have room for but
one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room
for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Are you referring to the legitimate La Raza or the La Raza that is racist and equivalent to many of the members of the Minutemen Project?
George Bush is giving La Raza federal funds??? I'm shocked and more than a little confused.
They have the right to exist just as much as the KKK. No govenment money should be spent to support ANY hate group.
