If you could not find any work in your homeland, wouldn't you leave it and try to find a job in another?
Answer:
nope.. there are alot of hungry, homeless, unemployed people here in the US... and they try to find work in the US- what is unfortunate is that our Government is so busy trying to come up with a way to help these poor hard working illegal immigrants and not doing a dang thing for our own citizens.. they aren't working on any bills, or setting aside money, or working on reforms- like welfare reform-to make sure that people that are having a hard time, got laid off, have paid into the system- instead of people getting it that are to lazy to get off their couch and look for a job. I think our Government and Country should help when we fall on hard times- we put plenty of money into the system to make sure no child starves, no family has to sleep outside or in a car- and unfortunately there are thousands that do- and what are we doing about it nothing.. we are worried about the poor hard working illegals
Amen brother...shame we can't find a legal way for them to do it.
Leaving home is very hard. I have young children and it would be impossible to relocate without any support from close family and friends. That is a very big factor in my decision.s.
no i'd find a job no matter what. i'm not going to uproot my family. and even if i couldnt i'd start growing my own food and farm my own animals. its not that hard. i've grown my own vegitables a half and acre worth. oh yea and raised chickens.
I would any way and the quickest to support my family
Not if I had to tiptoe through landmines, which ought to be laid along the USA/Mexico border. BLAM! Another one bites the dust!
Yes , legally , because I wouldn't want to spend time in jail >
No, I wouldn't. I would find SOMETHING to do in my country, even if it meant looking for work and working as a dishwasher or even cleaning up cow pies.
No I would not leave. I would find work. Always have, always will. And if I did leave for some other reason I would do it legally. Tell you what, before you go any further with your question, look up what your rights would be if you emmigrated to Mexico and then get back to us. A little hint, you would have none.
no, i would work on improving conditions in my own country.
why leech off the success of others when you can have your own?
i don't want anyone illegally in my house, so i won't be illegally in anyone's else's.
Not illegally, sometimes sneaking in at night in the back of trucks. Stealing is stealing - whether breaking laws by sneaking in & stealing jobs & services. Not paying taxes by claiming 8 deductions - the maximum allowed without proof.
Every illegal lying to get jobs at my husband's company ahve stolen social security numbers, had counterfeit drivers license, no auto insurance, claimed maximum deductions.
Thieves not victims - no matter the excuse.
Lots of countries have financial problems without 12 milllion
breaking into other countries.
My Mother raised me better than to lie, cheat, steal, counterfeit, & endanger others by driving without a license.
I would enter another country legally and not force them to learn english. I would not expect them to give me handouts because my *** decided to move there on my own free will. I would not pump out 1 baby a year and crowd their hospitals. im just sayin though.
Its unfair to ask americans that can get the job at Mcdonalds this question. Of course you can always find crappy jobs here. Its different in other countries. I certainly think we need to tighten up security and tighten up our borders. But we cant deny everyone. We just have to promote the fact that they can get here legally if they follow the rules.
katie u would starv to death and so would your children, and then you'd drag your sheit and illegally cross some random border and wash dishes.
Legally yes, but illegally no.
Been there ... done that!
Laid off from a high paying manufacturing job (another company bought ours for intellectual property, not manufacturing capacity ... slash and burn time!)
After 2 months of filling out applications and giving out resumes to anyone who would take one ... I found a low paying service sector job, in a city 20 miles away!
I am now working at that job and rebuilding my life as it was before the lay off.
The job I found was not in the field I am used to working in, it does not pay as much as I would like it to ... but I did not have to break the laws of my own country or any other country to take it!
I suppose I could have invaded Canada to try to find work in my field after I failed locally, I could even have tried Europe! I have too much respect for law and order, I'll take the lower paying job I can get LEGALLY, rather than break laws!
