Those of us who pay(paid) out-of-state college tuition, tell me you are ok with the illegals having it easy?
As most of us know that for the past 10-15 years, it is more difficult than ever for most students to get grants or scholarships to go to college, even if you (citizens) get financial aids, it takes many years to pay off.
Answer:
Yeah, how about instead of making us pay for these criminals educations we only let in people that have an education or can get a job that will earn enough money to pay for their own.
I gather that paying in-state tuition is less than paying out-of-state tuition. Any financial help should first come to American citizens. That goes for schooling and medical. I can understand illegals coming here if they are poor and in particular have children. I would probably sneak here if my children were suffering. But still, many of our own children are suffering here. A friend of mine from Scotland had to live in Canada for a year at least and then be sponsored by an American and pay $1,000 each for each family member in order to move here. She deeply resents our double standard. Mexico does not offer the same benefits to us should we choose to live there. As far as I know, we still are not allowed to buy land there.
No, I am not OK with that, having paid out of state college tuition. It irritates me to read examples of llegal aliens breathing in my country, and I am looking forward to their deportation.
I don't think it's right. Plus now their pushing for free college too. I find it extreemly un-fair especially for students on a border of a state. I'm sorry but if they aren't citizens they shouldn't get more than our own citizens or have less standards than is expected for foreign students.
We have too many of our own citizens who want to go to college and can't afford it.
It's sad but America caters to the illegal than it's own citizens.
