I agree with you completely. If more are dying attempting to enter this country ILLEGALLY, then they should just stay in Mexico. It certainly doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. There are far too many bleeding heart liberals in this country that are blaming the US for doing what they should have done a long time ago . . . MAKE OUR BORDERS MORE SECURE!

They get no sympathy from me. They know what they are doing is illegal. If you jump off a roof and break your neck, when there was a ladder nearby, you are foolish. There is a legal path into the US and I respect those who take it.

They aren't blaming the U.S. they are just reporting the deaths. The proximate cause of the deaths are the people themselves who choose ton go into the desert and die. They know there is a wall there. It's their own fault. If one wants to misconstrue that as blaming the U.S. then that's their opinion.

At this point the U.S. is to blame for everything. The attitude that Mexican citizens has towards us anymore has made me more intolerant. Why is it so unreasonable for the U.S. to require all people to obey the laws. I would get more "services" if I were illegal at this point. No question that an unnecessary human death is a tragedy. HOwever, this is not the fault of the US. How about blaming the Mexican gov't? the immigrant who stupidly (and in vain) risked his life and deprived his family of a father, son, brother?

In the process of doing something illegal, they died. They can do two things to prevent this themselves. One is, stop trying to come here illegally, and try to get their own country fixed. Two, come here legally, like everyone else in the world continues to do. The difference from coming here illegally and legally, is one you are in a very tight closed in area with too many people and not enough oxygen, or the other you come here comfortably and don't run the risk of getting put in jail or sent back. With those two options to choose from, you can't blame someone else for you personally making the wrong choice. If its an intelligence thing, that is also not our fault, mexico needs to do a better job of educating the mexican population about the dangers of crossing the border illegally.

The US gets blamed for everything. I've heard that they think we should have water stations out in the middle of the AZ desert to help these "poor people." BULL CRAP!
Besides, it these water areas aren't refilled often they will be empty and our country will get sued by people that shouldn't even be there!
It's sad that they die out in the desert but how is this our problem? They are doing it to themselves! We are not responsible for THEIR actions.
Plain and simple: If you choose to go into a dangerous situation on your own, and you die, it's your own fault and no one else's.
The U.S. is an easy scapegoat. No one wants to admit the truth and blame the illegals themselves or the Mexican govt. It's not our problem that they are dying. Hopefully, they are learning that they are risking their lives and that we are serious about our border security. Life is precious - they have to redirect their energy into changing their own government.
We are to blame because we haven't done anything to stop them from breaking the law. I feel bad for people who have to live in bad conditions, but that doesn't excuse breaking the law. If someone came into this country LEGALLY and died on the way, I'd feel bad because they weren't breaking the law while coming here.
