Homestead act of 2008?
instead of a fence why doesnt the goverment put the about 1600 miles of land up for grab, it would be a economic boom like we havent seen in decades . people can live there with out overtaxing the water problems , just need a lower population density, with citizens and a tax base law enforcment will be a given as well as county goverment , and state . so boarders protected imagration problems reducede economic boom for states and feds people get a chance for some land that they can call there own all winners
Answer:
great ideal everyone should contact there legislators
and who would buy this land? i think we need to work that land to produce food for this country. this way we wouldn't be getting from other country's.
Picture this. There is some type of amnesty law passed in the near future. Still no fence. Then there is a homestead act not too long after...and that low density thing wouldnt last long. I think you can surmise the rest. The next Civil War.
