Gee, I thought all the loonies were in California and Massachusetts! As far as the USA currency, a French (I believe) novelist wrote a book about a fictional religion of sorts from Egypt. This somehow evolved into a group who seriously believed the novel was true called the Masons. Many if not most of the founding fathers were Masons so this little bit of fun got placed on the currency.
