Anyone Travelled to UK and Europe on 6 month Visitors Visa? re entering UK twice?
I want to sail out to France on a Ferry with him and then come back next day to get it re- stamped for another 6 months tourist visitors visa, some say this is not possible, has anyone done this before? or something similar?
Thanks for your help
Answer:
I would say that this may not be possible if someone takes a good look at the child's passport (and sees how recently he was given a tourist visa). They may be able to deny him a visa on those grounds. Having said that I don't believe that they check that thoroughly (things may have gotten a bit tighter with the Glasgow situation though).
I know this sounds rather odd but why don't you apply for British citizenship for a minor since you're British? Either that or get him a British passport. It sounds like the child spends enough time with you. It's a little bit expensive but I think it would benefit him especially in light of your question.
If you're earning 20 pounds and hour you should be able to afford to start the proceedings for a British passport. for the kid. I understand that you've got a kid to take care of but surely that would be cheaper in the long term. Also, you don't need 20 pounds an hour because of your experience and training, that's what you believe you're worth. Settle for what you can get then start working around it and improving it.
being a so called political and demographic EXPERT are you not smart enough to find out in the usual way. or are you just full of it.
btw i believe you Will have trouble with his visa.
check out lonely planet or other travellers guides as they are full of visa info
