I think we need more immigrants. After all, we've got all this extra space here, and the US economy can support more people. Also, having a wide variety of people makes America great, by enhancing the culture.
Those folks are just trying to make a living, and they are willing to do work that you are not willing to do, so be glad that they are here.
A guest-worker program is the best bet, with eventual citizenship. They are here, they are working, we might as well tax 'em.
As for Mexican immigrants wanting the national anthem to be sung in Spanish and flying only Mexican flags... they can go to hell (back to Mexico).

Just enforce existing laws. Fine employers who hire them. Problem solved. They gradually leave as the reason for them being here dries up. Allow only new emigrants from Mexico in for temporary visas. Maybe, they might have a tiny bit of respect for AMERICAN LAW if we cared enough to enforce it.
Be fair. Cross the border, roost in that country without a job, draw money from welfare then ask that question again.
I am sick of illegal aliens. Lived most of my life in Los Angeles and know first hand the problems of illegal aliens. The sooner we can get them out the sooner we can get our country back on track. I know we have other problems also, but the illegal alien problem is one that needs to be fixed now.
It is not only mexicans... we have them from all over the world!
Sadly it is a never ending story... I am a victim of ID theft (stolen of course by an illegal) and believe me if someone wants this to stop it is those of us who have be robbed.
Unfortunately our eyes will not see it happen.The foundation of this country is based on immigrants that is part of our history and it will more than likely continue to be. Sigh.

First of all, learn how to spell. Anyhow, illegals are not only Mexicans, or hispanic. It is the most common because it is easy to cross the border, but there's also Africans, Irish, French, English, although they aren't common they are illegals too. You're right in one aspect; illegals shouldn't be here for the simple fact that there are people trying to get into this country legally, but can't because there are so many illegals making it hard for them. But then again maybe those illegals were trying to get in here legally but couldn't and dindt have the money, u gotta be considerate. Now, not just because they are here illegally does it mean that they break the law, I mean most are just here to give their children a good education and give them the opportunity they never had, in some aspect they also help out the economy. I mean if there were no illegals who would clean hotel rooms? help with crops in ranches/farms? build houses? maids? Watch a movie called "A Day without Mexicans". Anyhow, like you gotta see the whole aspect of it. A lot of criminals are actually whites, blacks, chinese, criminals are all over the place and come from many countries.
I'd support getting rid of people like you. Your ability to express in English is lacking. Learn Engnlish and then complain on illegal immigrants.
I support the security measures on the border but believe we should take it one step further. Pro Illegals (when not calling us racists) are always telling us that the illegals are hardworking folk who merely want to do the jobs us slovenly lazy Americans will not do. Let's take them at their word and remove the economic incentive.
Let's treat employers who hire them the same way we treat drug dealers. Long prison time and confiscate their economic assets involved in that criminal activity (illegal immigration is illegal)
I believe if the Plant Manager and Board of Directors at Swift would have gone to prison for 20 years and the plant become the property of the US Government then other employers would have snapped into line.
I believe without money the illegals would return home on their own.
I also believe if they left that Americans would suddenly want to work at food processing plants again.
We may have to pay a slight increase but the preservation of the country might be worth it.

EMMA LAZURUS wrote a lovely poem about people from countries suffering from oppression and torture. this country is all immigrants legal or otherwise! When we came from Europe we were glad to have the freedom to worship as we chose. Make our own laws, to live and work to provide for our families.! What is so wrong with people from other countries trying to get the same things? If I didn't live here, I would come by hook or crook to be free! I think I speak for everyone when I say the people who are truly sickened by illegal immigrants are the ones who have applied, paid hundreds of dollars in fees (if not thousands) and sat in the dismal immigration offices for hours and treated worse than a rabid dog to be here legally.

MYTH: The illegal aliens only take jobs that Americans won't do.
REALITY: The criminals underbid American citizens on labor. If you are an employer who hiring US citizens to work for you, you have to pay a competitive wage, or those prospective employees will seek better opportunities elsewhere (just like you would do in the same situation). Now imagine - as the employer - you have a ready pool of workers who will work for 75% of what you normally pay Americans for the same labor. You hire them and keep the 25%.
SOLUTION: Make the penalty for hiring these criminals so painful that employers no longer employ these people who "only take jobs Americans won't do." If these criminals experience widespread chronic unemployment, what incentive do they have to stay?
We need to keep writing our senators until they DEPORT them.
