Why do new people who come to Canada not adjust and go about trying to create what they left?
Answer:
They do it in the States too. They have big dreams of living the rustic life so buy in less developed areas then they can't take a rough dirt road or some of the rustic things that were so desirable until they have to live with them. Big disappointment. So they start whining to get the road paved, etc.etc. until it is just like the place they came from!
Huh? Are you saying you WANT them to go about trying to create what they left, but they aren't doing that?

I don't know. I've always asked that same question. Why not stay in the place where the culture you enjoy is? I would never emigrate to China and then decide that the whole country had to change just because myself and few other like-minded people had moved there.
Beats me, they do that every where. I think if they miss their country so much, that should have never left it.
