If all nations were forced to compete for population (who could live wherever they choose), all governments would be forced to create an environment where business thrive, where people are safe from crime and where the dream of a good life can be realized.
While on one hand I want this kind of ideal world, I realize our government's responsibility is to protect the populace from the threats from without including infectious diseases, criminality etc.
So while I want the government to protect us from the problems illegal aliens bring into the country, I want the freedom to oppose what I consider to be extreme measures that oppress human beings longing to breathe free.

No, the country was founded on immigration, most of them came illegally too. Why are they coming here, what has america done to that country to make them want to leave. Most of the illegal immigrants are here because american employ them for cheap labour, and jobs that americans do not want to do.

I am more disgusted with our government for not enforcing our laws! I can understand and even sympathize with people wanting to better themselves. yes and I will remind you that most of our family's have been here for generations which makes us descendants of immigrants and the nation of immigrants that are here came legally and are welcome.
