you are so right about that question. And how can we? I have no problem with anyone coming to this country to have a better life for themselves and their families what so ever. My ansectors were all immigrants, but they came over the right way. They didn't sneak in the back door or the front door for that matter either,they went through the proper channels. As should everyone who comes to this great country of ours. I think it is great that people want to come to our country and live and prosper, that is the way it was intented to be. I have heard many stories of people that have come here from other places and gone through the process and become citizens of our country and are happy here, and I say more power to them, to me they are just as much an American as I am or my ansestors are, there isn't any difference. But the ones I have trouble with is the illegals, who come and break the laws of our land, disreguard our laws, hate our country, hate our people, demand that they be given the same rights as those of us who are citizens. I think it is a slap in the face to those that had to work hard to get here and go through the process of being a citizen of our country . I know that it would be impossible to round up all the illegals and send them all back home, but if businesses would stop hiring them and people started turning them in and everyone would do their part in doing everything they could to let them know we will not tolerate them being here illegally and don't carter to them, then I think they would get the message and go home, in other words if there is no sugar on the table, they will leave and take there familes with them. And if they were serious about being an American citizen then they could go thought the process just like the others have done, the legal way.
And as for the illegals having babies, sorry but they knew if they got caught being here illegally they would stand a chance of being sent back, and if they brought a baby into this world for the soul purpose of thinking that is their way in, then, they will have to deal with it when their children are left behind , they should have thought about all that before they had the children in the first place. It isn't our responsibility to take care of all the worlds problems. They are putting a strain on our schools, hospitals, social services, prisons etc. And I have heard this so many times I could throw up, they say they are doing the jobs that we Americans don't want to do. That is BS, I have been into cleaning for over 30 years and I am not to good to do it either, and I am a hard worker and have always worked hard so they aren't doing any job I haven't don't in my life. And if they were all to return to their country I am sure there are many many people who would not be afraid to do the work they do and have all ready been doing it for years. My Mother and Grandparents worked the fields and did just the kind of jobs they are doing, so don't tell me we would be hurting without the illegals. And I don't think for a minute that our ecomomy would be hurting in the least if they left, we got along without them before they came I bet you we could get alone without them if they left. And I also agree that English should be the launguage spoken, if we were to go to their country I bet we would either learn their launguage or be left out, and I bet we wouldn't go over there to their country and demand anything from their government, shoot they would probabley put us on our little ship and send up back home. I do believe we do need to tighten our border down , build a wall, put more law inforcement out there, whatever it takes. When you enter a country illegally you are breaking the law, it doesn't matter what country you enter into, if you do not enter legally you are breaking the law. you have no rights, you are not a citizen you don't have any say, shoot that is just like voting privages, if you don't register to vote you can't vote, plain and simple. That is simply how it is here, if you want to be an American Citizen then step to the end of the line, and wait your turn, just like all the others before you have had to do. What makes you think you are any different than all the others that have had to go through the process of becoming an American Citizen?
