You are totally correct if they are here illegally then they broke the law and must be deported. Otherwise why do we even bother having laws? Personally I think that they should stay home and work to fix there own country's rather than screwing up our country. Our country is the way it is because someone made it that way, it did not happen by chance, it was usually paid for in someones blood, that would be American blood of course.

if you fail to pay your taxes, you get caught, you can pay a fine, and not go to jail.
you benefit by not going to jail. the government benefits by not spending money on your incarceration and by getting the money you were supposed to pay them.
