Are 'santuary states' for illegal alien invaders a good strategy in fighting the 'war on terror' ?
Is this why Bush will try to pass Mass Amnesty yet again tommorrow so he can fufill the arrangements for the United States surrender to Mexico and occupation by Mexican troops and police force as was outlined in the SPP George w Bush signed on 3/23/2007 at Baylor University in Waco TX ?

Answer:
Sanctuary states and cities for illegal aliens further organized crime and drug dealing and other criminal acts and prevent law enforcement from doing its job. Furthermore, Sanctuaries are nothing more than gang territories (at least it has the same effect as gang territories) wherein lawbreakers have a measure of safety and security to shield their illegal acts from prosecution. Terrorists and illegal alien lawbreakers are free to plot and scheme to get their way without so much as a "by your leave" from the government. Because they have access to the money that law-abiding citizens are paying, they use that money to enslave the law-abiding citizens and to plot their terrorist plans. The churches are joining the sanctuary movement and can be used by militants because the law won't go into the churches. Look at Elvira Arellano. She's been holed up in that church for over a year and is giving press conferences. She and the heads of the church are subversives promoting subversive ideals and are known lawbreakers and fugitives from justice.
We have a huge backlog of immigrants who have applied for entry and who are simply awaiting the "can't do" government's approval. These people are willing to do things right and take the time required to do so. Instead of stepping up the processing of "legal immigrants" the government is rewarding the lawbreakers and corporations who have ulterior motives and who are not "citizen material".
When a group of lawbreakers is given sanctuary, the country is lost. The sanctuaries have literally seceded from the United States of America and have declared themselves immune from our laws and law enforcement. Notice they haven't declared themselves immune from collecting money from the government, however. They have committed treason in its highest form and are a huge danger to the security and soverignty of law-abiding citizens of the USA. The lack of law enforcement and the government not doing its job is the greatest threat to our national security today --bigger than Iraq, Iran, North Korea, China, Mexico, or any other country's threat. When we have a government that broadcasts to the world that "it can't" and then proceeds to prove it by allowing fugitives from justice to hole up in churches, hold press conferences and illegal aliens to march in our streets demanding rights that they do not deserve and should not have, we have proof positive that the USA is a lawless nation ripe for the picking. The terrorists are here and have infiltrated the government and the corporations. When citizens have to fight to have laws enforced and are threatened by these illegal alien support groups if we do enforce our laws, our country is in grave danger. We need "sanctuary cities and sanctuary states for lawabiding citizens wherein the laws are strictly and unequivocally enforced."
r1b1c. Maybe you should re-read the laws. Our Constitution and the 1986 and 1996 immigration laws are just a few of the laws that make illegal aliens lawbreakers. They are not undocumented -- they are criminals and the law says so. Specifically start reading the Constitution of the USA and then go on to read Section 8 USC 1324 A and 274A of the INA and the hundreds of other immigration and national security laws we already have in effect that are simply not enforced. Maybe, instead of the word "Amnesty" the words should be "Preferential treatment to lawbreakers". We citizens really cannot hope that any of these laws will be enforced anymore than the 1986 and 1996 laws were enforced. Instead of 3 million illegal aliens that we gave amnesty in 1986, we now have 12-20 million and growing illegal aliens. That's an illegal invasion, pure and simple.
First of all the proper term is undocumented not illegal, in our system of law only that which has explicitly been prohibited by law is illegal, everything else is perfectly legal. There is no law that prohibits entry into the US so those that failed to follow established procedures are UNDOCUMENTED not illegal. You ought to learn English.
As for the bill... again learn the meaning of the word amnesty, the bill makes a myriad of demands on undocumented people in the US so it can't possibly be amnesty. Again LEARN ENGLISH.
Lastly, surrender to Mexico and occupation by Mexican troops.. man you need to get a basic education.
Well, I've heard of sanctuary cities (I live in one) , but I guess the term could apply to states as well. There has been a dramatic increase in gang and criminal activity since the illegals began coming here to 'work hard and feed their families'. So no, it's not a good strategy for fighting terrorism.
I do understand that this amnesty bill is moving us towards the NAU, and that is the reason for it. There will be no more border security than there is right now. That is why most of our citizens oppose it. I just wish more of them would open their eyes and see where this is leading.
Immigration doesn't help fight terrorism. But it's not supposed to. It's an end in itself.
Generally, I'm in favor of sanctuary laws that prohibit people getting deported when they're the victim of a crime or a witness to a crime. But they should still be deported when they commit a crime.
