I'm not racist and I support immigration reform.I also respect and stand up for the many hardworking illegal immigrants in our country.I don't believe anyone would leave their family and country if something wasn't wrong.yes a few do come here for other purposes than making a decent living.But I would say weed those out.You don't throw out the whole basket because a few bad apples are in it.

I don't care what race they are. We need to secure our borders and know who is in our country. Why do you play the race card? Is that all you've got going for your stance because you know that, usually, people who break the law are not thought well of?

My wife is Mexican and I oppose illegal immigration and so does she. It is not about race, it is about the rule of law and it is about right and wrong. Get off your high horse and stop accusing people of hatred.

I do not have a problem with Mexicans! I have a PROBLEM... With Mexicans who are here breaking our laws that we abide by. Just the same as I have a problem with WHITE pedophiles, Or Chinese drug dealers, or black murderers, or any other person in the world who breaks the law or hurts others. It is not a matter of what race they are but their actions!
All I want is for people to come here legally and I don't care what country you come from or what race you are either. I would feel the same if the person was from Europe or China or Canada.

My best friend and the family next door are Mexicans, and I am very good friends with all of them. My friend was born here, but her parents immigrated 43 years ago, and I don't know about my neighbors.
I don't like ANYBODY who uses our government to pay for their bills _medical, food, housing, utilities... (unless they are legal AND are truly disabled. My BIL is wheelchair bound due to a nervous disorder and works at Home Depot, the guy across the street sits on his porch and drinks beer all day and said he's disables - but he moves around fine and looks healthy mowing the lawn and fixin' his friends cars...
I don't like to go to the store and hear all the Spanish (or any other foreign language, just Spanish is the most I hear). I don't like trying to work and having customers come in and EXPECT me to understand their language and get mad at me, when I'm in MY country speaking the language that my country uses!
I don't have any problem with people with different back rounds, I have a problem with people not respecting the language in America and the reason for our governm,ents programs (to help people in need, not people who are lazy and cheap).
For me, this has nothing to do with the skin color or culture. It has to do with the fact that America is being overrun with people from a 3rd world country and we cannot assimilate them fast enough. Because they are coming too fast, we have unsolveable problems with healthcare, education, crime, drugs.

As to your question, I'm totally against all illegal immigrants, and our country has a huge mass of them. I'm totally for legal migration, as in applying for a visa and going through the immigration process. I do think we should make it easier for people to become citizens, but I also think English should be our national language.
