I'm a U.S. citizen, so no matter how much I might try to put myself in their shoes, I won't truly know how they feel. I feel very badly for the Mexican people who have it harder than I do. Believe me, that last thing I like to hear about is people living in such horrible conditions. I know if I were in their place, I would come here, too.
But I also know that in order for our country to be a nice place, we can't let EVERYONE in. If we just let everyone in, then there would be more bad people here too. I'm not saying that all Mexicans are bad - far from it, actually. The ones I know are very kind. But I think that if you want to live here, then you need to prove yourself and do it the right way.
People do. What we don't listen to are the demands of invaders who won't fight for their own country but come here demanding that my country take care of them.
It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come here and fly the flag they ran from in the first place. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come here and spread myths about the USA somehow being "their" land. It wouldn't be so bad if they showed a little gratitude for what the USA is giving them, instead of demanding that the USA owes them.
I'll agree about taking action against Mexico. Mexico has declared a quiet war on my country, and I'm ready to take it to the next level.
